I liked that. You are using a good voice. It was smooth but didn't make me sleepy (even with my knowing the story and how it ends). Lol It is odd listening to Holmes in other than a British accent, but I got used to it and enjoyed listening. TY

I appreciate the effort to bring this to us, but, sorry, I found the pacing of the reader to be so slow, I stopped listening to it two minutes in. Is there a valid reason for, or certain target audiences that justify, purposely reading so slowly that I'm not aware of?
@anjelitamalik9763Ай бұрын
I listened to it with 1.25 x speed
@HVDonkeyParkАй бұрын
@@anjelitamalik9763 Much better, thanks! And, perhaps because the reader's voice is deep to begin with, it has no qualitative effect on the pitch of the reader's voice. I might try even faster.
@HVDonkeyParkАй бұрын
@@anjelitamalik9763I tried 1.4 and it is even better. 1.5 and some of the words with stoccato syllables gets muddled. This doesn't fix the issue with phrasing where sentences are often presented in chunks (as if dictating to someone). The reader also has a tendency to pause too long at the end of each sentence. I'm dating myself a bit, but it is as if they are reading two spaces at the end of each sentence as used to be the convention with typeset printing. :-) Anyway, this is meant to be constructive feedback-- as opposed to negative criticism - for the producers. Always appreciate the effort that goes into these productions.

Not a human reader. It’s freaking AI

@@thequintanashow5058 I am not an expert on the state of that art, but it does seem that way, particularly with the lack of inflection.
