@@billythekidsnobstoyreviews They're on Magic Square's website! There are quite a few to choose from, my faves being Jazz and Mirage. There's sets for all members of their Devy and Bruticus, which is great There's also card cutout backdrops for legends scale displays that are also really good!

My review of this figure - I liked it until I Bought the Magic Square version and looked at them next to each other. At that point, I realized how terrible the Newage proportions and face sculpt are.

@@jameslane6311 there’s no doubt in my mind that MS has the superior sculpt and toon accuracy, but this Newage offering is a blast for its size. I enjoy both figures, and look forward to more from both companies. We REALLY need a sunstreaker and wheel jack from MS, and both sunstreaker and sideswipe from Newage.

It was pretty scummy of Magic Square to not include any Tape Minions AT ALL, but it kept Soundwave's price down and still does. However!! They've got even scummier: the box set that had the Tape Minions had Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, Ratbat, and the scouting drone. But that's gone, and the new iteration of that set only has Ravage, Rumble, Laserbeak, and the drone...so now you can't even GET all the Tape Minions. That being said, I am considering gettin' the Magic Square Soundwave reissue - Magic Square themselves got him up for sale at a potentially much lower price point than everybody else. (30, and on sale for 25; not bad at all considering the FAT markups that literally everybody else has) And it's definitely cheaper than everybody else, too...just ask NewAge. 😏

I completely agree about getting the shaft on the tapes, I can only imagine they will be releasing the other tapes in a similar pack. While I don't agree with their practices, I cannot argue about the designs/look of the figures. I have the Newage offering as well and it chapped my ass knowing I had to buy soundblaster to get Frenzy, Ratbat, and buzzsaw, looks like Magic Square took notes. The reissue is pretty nice in hand, and I'm probably going to replace my newage with this version, I just need to sit and really compare which is what I'm looking for. I checked, it seems the first release was also this 'vinyl' material (a Polyamide composite) - Soundwave himself was mostly ABS plastic though, as is it's re-issue. MS seems to phase the material out after their Devy. No idea why this re-issue misses out on the Frenzy re-color and Ratbat though

I just got my wei jiang predaking and I love the figure, I highly recommend it. but my version has a bit of a lose waist with stressmarks, does anybody else have that problem or does anybody know how to fix it

@@the_painting_knight3961 sorry to hear about the looseness, I wouldn’t know how to fix that in regards to the ratchet joints in his waist, however a heat gun or a quick pass from a lighter would make those stress marks go away. Hope that helps

Do you think it's worth getting the Earthrise Quintesson or is this good enough? I'm a Legends scale collector but I want the best representation of all characters from G1 and don't mind the size. The price might be a problem though as it's around $85.

So it really depends on what you're going for, there is no playability aside from the tendrils moving a little bit with this figure, HOWEVER it is the most screen accurate and scale accurate representation you will get IMHO. I'm perfectly happy with this as my display piece for the quints. The Earthrise towers over legends figures and is a great little playset but it doesn't fit at all with the legends line IMHO. Hope this helps

likely you received a dud or one that had worse tolerances than others. One thing you can fix is the shoulder and hip looseness by tightening the screws in the shoulders and hips. That will help with the floppiness.

01-Studio was my choice because I wanted to display it in both mode. Does anyone know how to follow or contact them ? I know a few owners of this bot that are willing to spend about $600-750AUD (I’m from Australia) for the same mold , just 50% larger. I’m sure there are similar feeling worldwide after Hasbro’s effort.
