Hi! 👋🏻 Thank you so much for your question. Although Berberine is considered “ more holistic or natural” and has been used in Chinese medicine for gut issues- there have been only small studies on it. Here is a good article from the Cleveland Clinic who have many qualified functional doctors. health.clevelandclinic.org/berberine-for-insulin-resistance-weight-loss My concern is always why is someone using the supplement (chronic morbidity or other issue) and what are the vetted science studies. When we look at studies we also want to look at who is doing the study and how big is the study. I think a qualified functional physician may be able to give you better information. Subscribe to the KZbin channel so you can get full workouts . I always go over form and give modifications so you can keep working towards your goals. Please don’t over do the repetitions -I don’t want you to get an over use injury in the bicep tendon. Best is just keep working overall full body to gain strength. I promise if you stay consistent and use good form-you will see results.

Hi Coach Beth ma'am! Is this also for men? I am man and did this with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I used soda can (half kg) as weights but could not even finish 1 set of curls when my arms completely gave up and I stopped and my MIL told me to go and rest to recover My MIL did 4 sets of these with 10 kg dumbbells!! Her biceps are very thick and powerful like yours! I feel really low and defeated.

Please don’t feel defeated. We all had to start with no weights -learn good form and stay consistent. Meet yourself where you are and stay consistent. My channel @360strongwomen does talk a lot about women’s health , however , the content is true for everyone! You can start with no weights and just work on form. You will get there !!

@@360strongwomen Thank you for your encouragement, Coach Beth ma'am! I am really struggling with curling half kg! i will do this without weights and see how long I can last My MIL curls 10 kg! But I will try your lessons regularly as my MIL told me that over time they will make very strong and super confident and my arm will even start showing a muscle!!! As a man I really want to be strong and empowered in front of my MIL! I tried arm-wrestle test against my mother-in-law's arm but even using two arms together against her one arm I could not even move her arm! :(

Hi David! Glad you enjoyed the video… you are doing great … 👍🏻💪🏻… consider bio mechanical balance( when you do a bicep curl your bicep is the primary mover and your tricep is the secondary mover) make sure you also work triceps so that your primary mover is triceps and your secondary mover is your bicep). It will help with strength
