When I try this, it looks great at first but pretty quickly as I go about my day, the top half of the ponytail starts to settle to one side and you can see the band on the lower half. Do you have any advice to avoid this?

The problem I have is the hair always comes loose from the roll. I end up with loose hair along the rolll

I was never able to use a curling iron etc. I tried the heatless curls out and it was the first time I was able to style my hair. Thank you so much. Love the effort, and love the Dutch braids- they are beautiful, though this tutorial makes it hard to comprehend. The perspective this tutorial is shot from is at an angle we wouldn’t be, whether we were braiding our own hair or someone else’s. So it’s a little disorienting. The cuts during the process (video) also make this confusing, as you’re explaining it cuts out and doesn’t flow while you’re braiding.

What if you're hair is layered and it keeps falling out of the scrunchie?

Girl, but you cheated in the brush out to the “as you can see…” with a curling iron. It’s ok to say it didn’t come out like you wanted…that real result is good to see, too. I just bought mine based on seeing someone who uses it regularly, but this feels like fake advertising. 9:43

I have medium to fine almost straight hair. When I tried this at first, my hair is so slick that it kept coming out. When I use a texturizer (just a little), it stays nicely. Thanks
