I miss Radio Shack , it morphed into "The Source" but even that is disappearing.

Radio Shack was indeed a product (and casualty) of the times.

Sure looks like a Rocky Mountain Instinct but without the I-9 pivot. If it rides like the Instinct then you're going to be very pleased with your Co-Op. Congrats on your new bike.

@bikingchad6 күн бұрын
Depends on your riding and trails. FS is nice but much heavier than the light hard-tail I've been riding lately. The value is excellent and REI will take care of you if there's a problem or you need setup help. If you have a store nearby, go have a sit on it and see how it feels. Have fun!

Hello, Engineer! Thank you for your support of keyestudio! And thanks for liking the 4WD BT Multi-purpose Smart Car! It's good to know that you have your own ideas about Robot car. Regarding the conflict between servo motors and LEDs that you mentioned in the vide,I want to tell you is that led is only used in the first lesson LED, subsequent tutorials do not use, so despite the shared pins, but in the tutorial there is a sequential order of use, so there is no conflict, if you want to be able to use at the same time can be connected to the LED in the rest of the vacant pins above!

This is the boss-area for Cantha. Whole battle takes place in one small area (across the long bridge) and the rest is never explorable. Total shame! Hopefully this captures some of the detail put into the end-game area.

Thanks for this video, second time watching , easier to understand when I am more awake. Especially liking the explanation of the coding around the 5 minute mark . ( Lines 127 to 147 ) 😎

That is wild man, it reminds me of the " red light in your garage video that you shared with me a few summers ago" . Energy/Entity of some sort, could possibly even occur with the powerbar unplugged.
@bikingchad2 ай бұрын
The light in the garage (was green, actually), has been given a "Probable cause". If you are here in the summer, warm evenings bring out lightning bugs. That light was probably the dismembered "light-up" part of the bug. Turns out, when separated from the body, the light bulb butt doesn't blink; it lights steady. I observed that effect last year and came to that likely conclusion.
@bikingchad2 ай бұрын
The cause of this effect remains a mystery.

I came here, hunting down compatible monitors between two A1Up's and hear that your Ridge Racer also has bad sound... at least when stock. Good to know. Was thinking mine was just a lemon. On the positive side, I have fourteen of these machines and I've barely run into any trouble at all. The Tempest machine's monitor has begun to flicker and play dead during the first moment of start-up. And the Gen 1 Asteroids has lousy buttons. Ironically, Google is saying both machines use the same monitor. That's been it. These machines have otherwise been rock solid.
@bobprince2683 Жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear about some of the issues. I also own the tempest cab and have had no issues. I have owned three additional Arcade1up cabs so far and have no problems other than mushy buttons. I have replaced all the buttons and controls successfully, and the units play well. Barring a few scuff marks from shipping/packing the cabinets have had no damage. I will be buying the Tron cabinet soon. Thanks for the post and information.

I also keep my machines off, unless I’m going to play it within the hour or so. Otherwise I rarely have all 6 on at the same time. It stinks tho, since they look really cool. I am also very gentle with the controls. However, I’ve had Star Wars since day one, and I play hard on it, but no issues. Yet I also turn it off after each play. I put a metal collar bracket on the base of my Tron stick. Seems to help with no breaking. Did not do the putty tho since that’s more permanent. I think we watched the same video. lol.
@bikingchad Жыл бұрын
Yeah that video on the stick and collar trick was very helpful. Probably wouldn't have split the stick housing to swap the switch otherwise. I hope to see Star Wars come back as re-release. Missed out on that!

At $299 the "they're just toys" excuse wears pretty thin. In fact if my kid had a $50 toy and it broke on Xmas morning I would be pretty pissed.
@bikingchad Жыл бұрын
It's all about the 'utility' as my econ prof would say. Not many $50 toys have high utility (age appeal, look, nostagia, etc). I'd pay more happily if the QC was higher.

Wow,we have had some problems too,it makes you wonder about their quality control!If you are an older fellow like me, I have worked in a factory and you have to have quality control or people quit buying your products,personally I think when the recession hits this year ,some of these problems will be redundant because people will not be spending 500-700$ on these,that is a lot of money,great video!
@SoulforSale Жыл бұрын
If you really are wondering there is no quality control. They get boxed and shipped from China and there is no oversight.
@bikingchad Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I wish they'd put a little more money towards QC. It's possible, but margin-margin-margin.
