Terrific! -- this is really my favorite song by Kelly Jo Phelps -- so jaunty and solemn at the same time -- well, mostly jaunty. Did you work this out yourself, or get guidance? Listening to this song over and over in my car, I always wondered if there would ever be a way to learn it!

I drive a private hire taxi and it`s weird how a lot of people automatically go in the back seat , at 00:15 I had a flashback of this as 4 of them got in the back😆

1966 for me was in NY State in the U.S., but this was as evocative for me as everyone has said. And wonderful music, too.

I remember when I was five my family stayed at Mrs McKinley's boarding house just up the road in July 1966. The street hasn't changed that much 😀

@@shoobydoob Ha ha...Anthony I'm very well thank you. Funnily enough I just said to my sis that I must have gate crashed that one! I might have been living directly across the road at the time. I was a Savoy breakfast regular though so I hope I'm forgiven.

I lived in the same street for 17 years from 1984to 2001. Great place my name is David Gibbs lived at number 9 With my partner Margaret and son David and daughter Rachel.. very happy days.

tights had to be American tan in winter and white socks in summer from August till October then may till June! our skirts were Navy blue A line skirts we were sent with them clean in August they weren't washed till we got home in October for mid term holiday ! then they were washed again at Christmas Sundays we wore Ancient Gordon Dressed tartan kilts ! we supplied our own cutlery egg cups bedding etc

certainly cant be boarders not in full uniform we wore skirts to short and the shoes were brown Clarke shoes. we would never be allowed to dance like that in 1970

Very cool, I was in Ayr in 2005. We stopped over when I was deploying to Kuwait with the US Air Force, and then again on the way back. I thought it was wonderful place, and seeing this video of the everyday lives of some of the local residents really puts things in a new perspective.

My whole maternal side (Pacitti....mom, her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins) all came to America from Cerasuola in the early 60s. I was born here in the USA in 66 after my mother married my father who came wuth his parents & family from Orsogna during the same years.
