It is impossible for a duet to exceed this. His raspy voice along with the purity and range of hers. absolute perfection...

I remember this song got quite a bit of airtime on Swedish radio back when it was released in the late 80s. Great song.

And to think, Dennis started with The Detroit Rockets in the 70’s - recording wise, that is.

I thought Eddie London was going to be a country music superstar. What a voice he had. This tune peaked at #26 on the Country singles chart in September 1991. I had the pleasure meeting him and getting to him, while he performed at Skull's Rainbow in 1996 and 1997. R.I.P Eddie London. You are missed.

I hope my sons realize how much I love them & remember me as a “protector” for them! Life was tough when they were kids.. now they are young adults & my heart longs for when they were little boys & needed their momma ♥️

Reminds me of an album my dad used to play while we traveled. Kooky Kountry and Silly songs. Some of these are burned into my head out of anxiousness and fear. Excuse me mr. Custer and they're coming to take me away still does something to my head and it absolutely effects me.

This video shows the closing credits for Austin City Limits Season 9, Episode 6, which featured Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band. This particular version of the episode aired after CMT began cutting Austin City Limits episodes to make room for commercials, so some songs may be missing.👍
