I fell in love with this airplane when I was young. I felt so sad when I heard it was to be retired. I hated the Air Force for it. It is probably why now I can't stand the B-2.The SR-71 and the F-14 for me, are the two greatest aircraft to every fly.

Even the best evidence and arguments will never constitute or rise to a standard of proof of Gods existence. It's not supposed to. Faith is crucial to Gods plan here. To not know to a degree of certainty that God exists, and yet still act in goodness, even when its detrimental to your self, is the only way to procure authentic devotees in a kingdom everlasting. Purposed as the answer to the fall of mankind as a workaround the problem of evil in sentience and duality in creation.

1. Infinite Regress Problem: If you trace back the cause of everything that exists, you eventually reach a point where you need a first cause or an origin. This is because an infinite chain of causes without a starting point is difficult to conceptualize logically. 2. First Cause Necessity: To avoid an infinite regress, there must be an initial cause or a creator that set everything into motion. This cause is often identified as God. 3. Conditions for Existence: Even if one posits that our universe was created by a highly intelligent being, a quantum state, or some other entity, the question remains: what created the conditions for that being or state to exist? This line of questioning ultimately leads to a need for a fundamental origin. 4. Simulation Hypothesis: If the universe is a simulation, then the simulation must have been created by some entity. The existence of such an entity would still require an explanation, which leads back to the need for a first cause. 5. Endless Causation: Even if something else caused our universe, such as a quantum state or another dimension, something must have caused that initial cause as well. This continuous need for a cause suggests that there must be an ultimate, uncaused cause to stop the infinite regress. In summary: If you trace the cause of everything back far enough, you eventually need a first cause or origin to avoid an infinite regress. This necessity for a first cause suggests that belief in an ultimate creator, often conceptualized as God, is rational, as it provides a logical endpoint to the chain of causation.

1)we dont know if the universe is infinite or had a start, 2)if you trace back the cause of everything that exists we dont know where we end up cause we dont know what happened in the beginning. We can follow a rough chain of evolution for most living things but at some point we just dont know. Saying because we know that everything had a beggining or a cause in the time we know,means that everything also had an origin/cause/beggining is not correct 3)if one says any of these things, they are just a hypothesis, theres no evidence for them right now. The answer here is i dont know. It is wrong to say : who created these conditions?we dont know. therefore god. Anytime you say i dont know, you remain with that answer 4)Simulation hypothesis is fun to think about but also no evidence for it 5)Even if something else caused our universe , which we dont know if it did, you eventually need a first cause , which we also dont know. See how many times all these questions include we dont know. In summary, i disagree with the premise that everything needs a first cause, we know that for a certain time in human history we can trace SOME things that have a cause, but we just dont know when we go far enough back in time. There is no necessity to believe in a first cause because theres no evidence there was one if that cause needed smth intelligent or not. Therefore, the most logical position here is i dont know.

WOW! I have never cried from the effects of a motivational speech before, but I sure balled my eyes out from this one. To hear Mr. Shul's remarkable story brought such pride and amazement to my heart. As a kid there was nothing in my world that made me dream and wonder as much as the SR-71 Blackbird. The only model I ever finished to perfection was the Blackbird. I did class projects about it and collected every toy or book about it. Between my friends and I there were precious few experiences in life that qualified as truly great achievements, should a person reach the caliber of character and skill that would qualify. Those being Delta Force and the Navy Seals, a Shaolin Monk, climbing Everest or K2, being an Astronaut, and becoming the pilot of an SR-71 Blackbird. Finally having this glimpse into the other side of the mythical Blackbird program, I am elated to hear Brian's experiences and outlook on life. To understand the caliber of the man who lived the collective dream of countless American boys fills my heart to overflowing. I may have never been an SR-71 pilot, but knowing such a fantastic human being did completes me profoundly. A truly great American boy lived a million dreams come true, and I am very, very proud of Brian Shul for living it so well. Thank you, Sir. Very well done. It will be a long time, if ever again such a man and such experiences are graced upon this Earth once more. Rest in peace, Sir. You are not forgotten. ❤

@Jayden-zq6fjАй бұрын
the claim of jesus as an historical figure is evidence, what you mean to say is there is no objective proof of god to which I say there is a paper trail leading to the fact that god is more likely to have caused the universe than no god and that it arrived out of nothingness. To whether this god is the judeo christian god yahweh is a different issue but if god ever did reveal himself to humanity you would be hard pressed to find evidence that beats the recordings of jesus life death and teachings.

See, to me, the fact that there is something instead of nothing is evidence. The existence of your conscious mind is evidence of a conscious creator. The objective beauty we find in nature as conscious beings is evidence. The laws of nature imply a law giver, and to me are a form of evidence. Our ability to do science and unlock the coding of the universe to me is a form of evidence. An all powerful creator does not make this universe less boring, it just makes it more hopeful.

This author chooses to draw conclusions from extremely limited evidence. Ironic that a scientist would never publish a technical article without sufficient evidence and data. Yet, geo politically, this author is willing to draw wild conclusions based on scant evidence because of 1 visit, and whatever other information he could find, as limited as that is. In short, a shameful betrayal of intellect and rational thought. What’s worse is that this is a topic(nuclear) with grave consequences. To start pontificating when he doesn’t have his own “hinge points” betrays the search for truth to protect mankind. The west wants nonproliferation and world peace. NK wants its own bombs to threaten and possibly go to war. In sum, this man is what we call a fool.
@BK-uf6qr2 ай бұрын
Sad to see and hear an academic get played by North Korea. With limited contact, and an urge to be contrarian, this author is so full of themselves to lodge broad generalizations of what’s in the mind of the North Koreans. I find people like this wildly naive. The West and SK, have their own sources of intel that we will never know of. The author has limited contact and chooses to believe NK propaganda. There is always a constant stream of internal disbelief of our government, our presidents. But when it comes to NK the author decides to believe in NK and their government. Why? Because he met some people from NK. Overwhelmed with hubris, the author essentially falls in love with his own sense of importance. Sadly, a presentation like this could never exist in NK. No one could ever criticize the NK government or leader. Only in America can such speech be allowed to be broadcast publicly. But the author still chooses NK, and it’s innocent benevolence. There is no internal criticism of NK. Are we to believe none exists? Are we to believe that if there is no criticism of NK internally that everything is above reproach? That is the essence of the problem. People only know what they can see, hear or read. The vacuum of NK scrutiny is barren while the west allows freedom to speak out.
