This causes me some anxiety when she doesn't smooth everything out nice and flat as she is sewing and turning the fabric around. I am rather pedantic I guess but just like to keep everything smooth and flat as I am sewing. Love the bag though and have sewn before from another tutorial.

This is great! I dont know why I didnt think of french seams and like you boxed the corners too! Ive made a lot of jean tote bags but always just zig zagged it which still favels a bit between. I dont have acess to a lot of materials for linings and a bit of a pain. Like making 2 purses!

I appreciate your fabric recommendation and the size of the square. I ran out of disposable tissues and I think that I will try making some for at home. Because I am using crutches and I ride the bus to places, disposable may still be best when I go out, but we will see how I like using fabric!
