Compared to older kumite videos, due to the development of the training system, the average trainees are no longer a sloppy form and they're in a high level. Not to mention famous senpais. 100-person kumite is definitely more difficult than before.

Believe me from a stand of view it looks nothing but there are a lot of pain in it regular people can not handle the pain only respect for those achieve this status of fighting 100 men and succeed.

Shame they couldn't find a bigger dojo to organise it. The pillars are in the way and a dangerous obstruction. Still amazing and motivating to watch!

The hyakunin kumite is basically like a survival mode on a fighting game.
If this is the most recent 100 man attempt by IKO.....they stopped it at 60. He did not completed the full 100. To be honest this is terrible, should of stopped it much earlier. No power no passion no spirit. This is not light practice sparring......this is the 100 Man!!!! Not impressed at all.

« No power » dude he literally knocked out a dude cold with an Hiza Geri, and it’s super technical fight, great timing and effort management to endure this insane challenge, respect a bit more something that you’ll never ever do whether in this world or in your wildest dreams. « No Passion and Spirit », dude, how can you say that ? Because he is not biting on people like Masuda he is not showing spirit ? Every human being is different and we don’t act all the same. I had the same outcome when watching Matsui’s 40 man Kumite, trashing him saying he is not respectful unlike Kazumi or Yamaki, but you know what ??? At the end of the day, every human being go to its own limit and that’s just that, they all go to their own limits, and just for this we should respect this. I wasn’t seeing this that way, seating in my couch typing on Internet that a guy that is doing something ain’t worth it because he is not AS GOOD AS THIS OTHER GUY. Besides, I love to see the distance management, the timing of the front kick to catch off balance opponent, the super fast high knees passing over elbows, I mean if you don’t like seeing this you are not liking seeing great technical combat. Mind that HE IS SUPER YOUNG, not even 23 years old God Damn it, Jesus Christ friends can we appreciate stuff in life for what they are sometimes ?
