7:50 - You must be connected to the internet if you're calling a remotely hosted instance of aframe. Aframe can still have basic functionality offline served locally, but the inspector won't load.

If you know what a HackRF is.......don't need an intro to the device... (don't wanna read further.. 23:04 ) . . .....understand that it can go up to 6ghz... with bandwidth limitations of 20k- & that the device has connections/ is capable to be daisy chained with another(or multiple HackRfs) giving it increased bandwidth along with ability to perform both send receive simultaneously(by itself is only half duplex/ or is able to tx/ rx but not at the same time)... If you understand that the device is capable of much- except many of which require a license- even special licensing in some case/ may be illegal in some countries. You understand the devices limitations regarding transmit power- the almost necessary requirement of an external amp to overcome this....and not 1 of such a power that you'd require a radio operator license for that reason. If you know where to find basic HackRF documentation/ support/ latest firmware If you know that(the basics really), then skip to : 23:04 since that's where things get spicy with the introduction of GNU Radio and advanced info.

I apologise for my accent. This was a meetup recording directed towards a Singaporean audience with heavy use of Singlish (English creole) slang. The relatively low 32Khz sampling rate of the audio recording also didn't help.

Aren't all the patents from 2002 expired by now?
@yeokm1 Жыл бұрын
It's not about the patents. Based on my understanding of HDMI requirements, you need to buy the license in order to legally access and use the full HDMI specification such as audio. This includes buying the HDMI encoder chips from official distributors as well.
