Maryland is my favorite place and the school is great. The state has so much history as does many other states. This is where the National song was written and the National flag was made. Go Terps! 😊

My older daughter is part of the color guard with MSOM, and after a three-year hiatus from performing due to the pandemic and two years of community college in the interim, she is righteously stoked to be back out there and spinning those flags again! I got to see this show in person (she and her boyfriend, who is also in the MSOM, sprang for the ticket and parking fee), and I absolutely LOVED it!

Drill was interesting and drums played well. Winds need to learn their music. Lots of wrong notes, kids not playing, poor balance and blend, and ensemble timing problems as a result. Tempi for much of the Williams stuff seemed slow.

Because it was a noon game, this was like 20 minutes before the actual kickoff, Maryland is a basketball school, people in the DC area don't care about college football, and the game was likely to be a blowout loss for Maryland.

1. we suck at football lol i think you know this 2. because of number 1, not many people really wanted to go 3. the section you're looking at (the lower part at least) is the visitors section. the students sit over on the left in the curved part (right out of the camera you can't see it). the penn state game where we lost 0-59 had probably more penn state fans than maryland fans in the sold out stadium. lol
