This was life as a teen in the 90's. Reckless, chaotic, exhilarating and heartbreaking at times. We ran from bad households often and learned the hard way.

what makes this even sadder is a couple of the actors Harold Hunter and Justin Pierce died some years after the film justin in 2000 and harold in 2006 rip to them man this film was also great and really shows how this stuff can ruin your life it feels like even then tho its still at an all time high even tho this film was made in 1995 its still a very relevent film today

I didn't like him at the time but honestly it's not as bad as I remembered. He's being an overly-competitive dick, but he's also a teenager. I like the guy I've watched in interviews this whole draft process-he was kicked down pretty hard after OU and still came through the other side without making any excuses. The Saints made a good pick here, I think his intelligence, accuracy, and resiliency is all a sign of a good NFL quarterback.

Those saying this ending is better, I get it, it's true to real life. But so is the other one. I've met plenty of people, my self included, who left their profession to do something else and are so much happier. It does happen to those who have the guts to do so. The ending they went with is a great cap on the overall message about finding happiness in what you do. Peter found it working in construction with his neighbor, leaving behind the soulless world of software. I wouldn't have liked this movie as much if they had this ending, that's for sure.

So we're gonna cancel Rattler because he was obnoxious when he was in high school? People do mature.

This certainly helped turn him into a 5th round pick as opposed to a 2nd or 3rd.

Who the hell cares? I’m tired of head ass know it all jerks on ESPN acting like they didn’t act exactly like this at 17. He was a kid. Kids act out, say shit they don’t mean, and don’t know how to control their emotions properly yet. Sick to death of this shit every year where the media has to go through every second of someone’s life and it’s stupid. It was 2017. That was 6 years ago. Get the fuck over it.

Reports say that this video and others was a main reason he fell so far in the draft... Also, prolly the motivation why Caleb Williams took that asshole job, win the Heisman and became a #1 pick...

Wow - That only cost him a few million dollars falling so far in the draft for being a terrible team-mate. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, actually about as sharp as a dull marble. They that in the NFL and watch your OL step aside and watch you get creamed.
