You’re welcome! To translate is for my English studying too! どういたしまして。私にとっても英語の勉強になります。
Good thoughts. Agree more of a back-side roll than back roll. I like the point that realistically there is a lot of energy and should be fairly easy to get over if roll correctly. I would add that getting up from a back roll is slightly dangerous as a standing opponent may be right in front and to have awareness and hands up as you get up. In future videos might be cool to hear your thoughts on which throws would be applicable to back rolls (like ago ate, etc). We tend to mostly do side falls and front rolls and limited on when we use back rolls.

Fun video and always good to focus on all the different types of rolls. These are good and I remember when started that one side felt really easy, but the other side was always a problem. Funny how that works, no? I think that was the same with front rolls. I tended to just do double on the side I did not like. Keep up making videos and sharing our art of Aikido.

Thank you, Andrew!! Yes, I saw many students who are good at rolling one side. If this is sport maybe we only practice only one side but what i think aikido is great is that we have to train both right & left sides so that we are able to move in a good balance.

@@kubotch-aikiLife (and Aikido) is all about that balance.
Congrats on first class of 2024! Have an amazing year of training ahead.
