I used to not have any! It started with a polka dot plant I got for free and then I started making baby plants from that plant and then I got baby plants from friends and yeah… now I’m hooked I guess but it’s still under control lol I don’t wanna freak out my husband by creating a jungle at home and I am too frugal for that anyways 🤣 and to your question, so every plant that enters the house I will monitor closely like how the cats react and interact and check for bite marks. Rusti will come up and sniff, and he might try to take an initial bite and then I shout no at him and he knows it’s not okay. I had one plant I got rid of because he kept coming back for it. Or one time I started jalapeño peppers from seed. Anything flimsy grass like or small, they would try to eat. So now I only have plants I know they won’t bite into. Almost all of them have very big leaves (my cats don’t care about big leaves luckily). Do you have any plants or would the cats try to eat them?

@@Less_Or_More_Rika It’s so good that your cats have common sense! I have plants outside, but not on the inside. When I cut my roses and bring them in, the cats scatter the petals all over the house. I don’t trust them with plants! 🌱. But yours are lovely!

Oh no poor thing! 🥲 my old dog was really afraid of it too. That’s why I never do fireworks, I don’t wanna make animals feel uncomfortable. Oskar luckily does not get scared of anything like fireworks or thunder etc, but water is his nemesis 🌧️

You got a good point there lol. 🤣 Oskar hates everything that involves water like rain or baths. Whereas my old dog jumped into every puddle and river and loved rain and snow. Also, I really don’t know many people that like being in rain. So I guess just like us humans, dogs have their own preferences and dislikes too.

He does doesn’t he! It’s so rare to see that look on his face it always throws me off. And I think you’re exactly right! 🤣 I feel like he thinks that as soon as I put on his rain coat, I summoned the rain and that I chose for it to be a rainy day lol 🤣 Thank you! 💕🙂↔️ I just cut the armpits of the jacket yesterday, because the material was a little stiff, so now he can move more freely. I been looking for a better fitting rain coat but haven’t found one yet. Him being partly dachshund makes it tricky to find fitting clothes! Talking about rain, I hope you didn’t get any flooding where you are from the hurricane remnants! Stay safe 🙏🏼

@@V8-friendlyHagelschaden haben wir seit Mai als hier ein Tornado durchgefegt ist. Jedes Auto hier in der Stadt hat den gleichen Schaden. Ist quasi jetzt ein Markenzeichen unserer Stadt geworden. Laut Wetterbericht regnet es noch bis Montag und Flutwarnung dazu. Der Herbst ist jetzt wohl offiziell da.

It does! I’m so happy that it all went well and that they get to live with each other. Aw thank you for checking in on us my friend. Yes, we are okay, we’re just getting a LOT of rain from the hurricane in the south. Probably nonstop for the next three days. But I love rain so I’m happy about it, and we had a very long drought so nature will be happy too! How about you and Dave? Has his paw healed up fully? 🙏🏼
