(1) maybe Cuse athletic dept should have gone w/ GMac?? (2) AA and his staff better get its azz in gear and find ways to win, or those high rated brand named recruits are gonna be susceptible to the continued recruitment efforts of all those other teams… just sayin

Whack is definitely a correct term. She has always had little to no control on the court. She has good qualities but hurts herself with this kind of outburst. Personal experience: kept calling my kid a dirty player. Hurts to lose sometimes but respect the players and the game.

Devo said everything I have been saying...as far as the lack of leadership. Great opportunity for JJ to step up in that role. This team will get better as the year progresses, because they just haven't played together enough, just yet. I do see the talent and the hustle. I also like the "swagger" from guys like Bell. We need that. And he can flat out shoot the rock.

Put a good product out there that WINS, people will come. Truth. Edit: I watched the Albany game and quite frankly, we suck in Women’s BB right now. Trying to compare what UConn built to what we have now is ridiculous. We’re at ground zero again.

That Syracuse-Miami game in 1998 was the de facto Big East Championship game. The winner went to the Orange Bowl. Miami had Ed Reed, Edgerrin James, Santana Moss, Dan Morgan, Najeh Davenport, and a bunch of other studs. Some were young, some weren't. 66-13.

I love my nephew Francis Brown. I got a ticket coming back from the Syracuse game heading back to NJ. State boy pulled me over on the way back home. Ticket was super high. Anyway, it was worth driving there to see them play Virginia Tech . They won. I was home watching them play Boston. They should have won that game as well!!!! I love you, nephew. Keep ya head up. Go Francis. ( He has my brother name). Francis Brown is awesome and he dont bite his tongue. Never did as a kid and he surely dont now! Lmfbo. Gooooooooo Syracuse

LET BE CLEAR! WE ALL KNOW THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH COACHING REAL TIME DURING THOSE GAMES! ON DEFENSE. GIVE MORE instruction while the game is going on! THERE WAS: NO "half court man", NO "Full court man", NO "zone", NO "FC press", NO "man jump trap after half court" AFTER A BLOW BY " STOP PLAY, Time out! STOP the momentum BEFORE IT STARTS , sit them down to talk to them" AUTRY GET OFF THE BENCH, PACE back and forth DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO SHAKE THEM UP AND PLAY DEFENSE! MOTIVATE THE WHOLE TEAM TO GO AFTER THE BALL WITH URGENCY! CORRECT Bad positioning IMMEDIATELY! STOP PLAY FOR POOR DEFENSIVE ROTATION IMMEDIATELY. SUBSTITUTE A PLAYER to talk to him! Coach THE WHOLE GAME! ASSISTANTS coach the players that just came out, those about to go in , and those just sitting.

The reason we are not happy with our 2-0 start is because our rpi was 68 at the start of the season and now is 101. In the hole for ncaa consideration which i think is bullshit but the ncaa is basically bullshit with a bullshit rule of offensive efficiency.

How do you have a group of coaches on this squad and no one can teach defense? Red needs to be more assertive and start pulling players if there is no effort. No urgency to earn their playing time. These other ACC Teams are not going to be easy.

You don't turn into an alpha, you either ARE or you AREN'T, it's that simple... overall, just unimpressed and disappointed with the start to this season and team..it's my belief that it's a precursor to what we're gonna watch this season.. the roster is an assembly of guys, not a team... and donnie freeman plays more like a Hardee's 5 🌟 not a McDonald's 5 🌟... still can't shoot, play defense or make ft's, but we can rebound, yay 👍

@carlmintz56811 күн бұрын
Devo was being kind in his analysis. Let’s start with JC. He’s undersized and not particularly quick or fast. And I noticed he doesn’t move his feet very well. Against top level talent he’s gonna be exposed even more. As for Donnie, I love him and saw him come up as a player in AAU and St. John’s in DC. But he’s never been really dominant. He’s a nice piece to have at 6’9 but is not capable of guarding on the perimeter and is too light to bang in the paint. His Mc Donald’s All American status is misleading. Did you see him play in that game? Unimpressive. But because of his length and relative talent he’s seen as a projected 1st rounder. To me that questionable. Y’all need to stop making excuses for him because he’s a freshman saying he’s gotta get used to the speed and physicality of the game. That’s bull crap! Freshmen who are legitimately good don’t need much of an acclimation period. They just go out and ball. Judah did it. Fillipowski did it. Bub Carrington did it. Terquavion Smith did it. That point guard from Notre Dame did it last year. And that’s just in the ACC. As for JJ playing the one, I have no idea what Devo was talking about regarding JJ playing on the ball a lot last year. He must not have been paying attention. Judah was on the ball 90% of the time, and the few times that JJ was on the ball, he often got picked or lost the ball. So he’s really not a good option for the one long term. And he continues to get beat off the bounce like last year. He’s good going down hill but not as a facilitator so much. Time will tell he if he’s an Alpha like Judah was. But you either are or you’re not.

You’re overreacting. Freeman will be just fine. There’s 29 games left in the season and you’re already chalking him up 😂 chill bro
@carlmintz56811 күн бұрын
@ Not chalking him up, just saying he’s been overhyped. He’s talented and a good player but not transformative. I hope he does well because he’s a local kid. Watched him grow up. But expectations are too high that he’s gonna be an impact player.
@garyromeod879010 күн бұрын
Bottom Line This is got to be a Zone defensive team a big percentage of the time even regardless of 3-point matchups because if they are aggressive like they used to be this team does not have the man to man capabilities a very well coach's own defense team is what this team is
