Thanks, the hard part for me was trying to put the clip slides back on the light sockets at the end - tried to put them on backwards. You gave me one of those "aha!" moments as I realized my brain-dead error on the easy part. Getting old.

ANOTHER person NOT doing the correct -- and SAFE -- installation! Why did you not put a junction box in -- instead of just pulling the wires through a hole in the wall?!?! That is a sure sign that your DIY predecessor did a half-@ass job, and now you're repeating it?! SHEESH!

Isn't there supposed to be an electrical box to technically code? Just checking because I need to replace old hollywood lighting just light this and from all my research technically you should have a box and not just a plate like this.

where did you buy that light fixtures

I can't get the light fixture off the wall. won't pull off, the collars for the lights won't screw off or pull off. I don't see any screws in the light socket or any way around it. I just have the two. decorative screws i removed already. Help..

Me again, got the tools you mentioned. The old faucet came off without much trouble. Those old plastic nut just broke off when I put the tool on them and just made a half turn. Thanks again, Darryl.
