I believed this video and the brutally honest one.... Filmora is soooo glitchy and all their answers are delete and re-download. Also, you have to pay extra to get any useful transitions and effects. After a month I find myself just using the editor on my phone and adding visual effects in the Social media apps. It's good for quickly converting videos, has 320 audio, and thats about it imo. Sorry. Kinda wish I could get my money back.

@@prabeenpramod6110 I’m not 100%. I don’t think it would look right for your viewers with a watermark. But I can’t imagine Videoscribe would care. It would be buried in the fine print of their terms and conditions I guess.

Ok, gimme some rope here, I want to do more quick vids, sort of "listen to what I've just thought of" type of thing. Just me talking to the camera. This is stuff that I think is worth sharing (in the way that Hormozi says if he has an idea he tweets it so it's out of his head and he can go back through them later and elaborate on them) but, I realise that the reason I've not been doing them is I feel that they will be a bit scattered and they'll just end up as a big pile of videos that will confuse people. Should I do like Hormozi, maybe have a playlist just for them and go back every so often, redo in longer form then delete the quick ones.......or put them into their relevant playlist and go back later but not delete them.....or I think I've answered part of it myself, it's that thing of feeling like I'll be wasting my time in the first place

If I’m following you…. Why not use shorts for this? You can create shorts up to 3 mins. May not bring in the right crowd but you could certainly test them and also try them in long format to (even if they are only a few min long). I would give them a name / theme and playlist. Try and make it a feature for a certain day of the week. Monday mosaic musings….. Peter McKinnon used to do this. Can’t remember exactly. It was something like 3 minute Friday. I tried it to. But mine didn’t work at all. But your channel is very different. Try it. What’s the worst that can happen

For affiliate marketing? I kind of moved away from it as KZbin doesn’t particularly like “affiliate” videos. However I am going to create some videos on monetisation and that is a big part of it. Don’t overthink it though. Choose a platform. Create content that helps people. Show them products that solve problems and use your affiliate link. Build an email list for long term growth. It’s more straightforward than people realise. Some don’t, but I tend to promote products I believe in and use myself. So you will see on my channel software tutorials and videos - I usually promote the product as part of them Let me know if there’s anything in particular you would like to know

Ha I didn’t mean it quite as brutal as that 😅 Quite a lot we can learn from these young whipper snappers. They are far more fearless and willing to dive in and do the thing. Storytelling is huge mate, either sharing snippets of story from yourself or the topic or incorporating story frameworks into the content structure itself.

Hi Martin. I would check their specification page and then add a little to future proof. I’ve managed for years on a laptop with an i5 cpu and 4-8gb ram. Didn’t have an SSD either or a dedicated graphics card. It worked fine for years but couldn’t handle 4k if you intend to use that. I had to upgrade because I also use camtasia as part of my workflow and that needed more. I now have ssd, 16gb ram, i7 cpu and I still don’t have a dedicated graphics card yet, but manages well with both apps and even 4k

Filmora wants to make money from the no talent, no creativity don't even own a camera, content thieves in India. That's what this big push for AI "Features" is about. All the editors are starting to do it now. That's why KZbin is so full of absolute garbage now.

@@srinivasanraajagopalen7492 I’m really sorry. I have no idea with that setup. I assume as long as your laptop/pc picks it up as system audio. Then in the filmora options you can choose the system input and whether to mute it.

I used Filmora to create a slideshow using pictures we took while on vacation. Some of the pictures were taken in the portrait mode. In this mode, there are black empty spaces on each side of the picture on my slideshow. Is it possible to eliminate or beautify these empty spaces?

@@MNM14ful if you check out the effect tab (from memory) I believe you can add a background blur. This will just use the same video/photo but blur it to the fill the gaps. Looks better than plain gaps. Hope that helps

Thankyou and good question. The chrome extension I believe is free however the main functionality is paid. I don’t believe they have a trial, but things change quickly with new SAAS companies like this, so worth checking. You certainly don’t need to commit long term so you could use it for a month and see how you go. Hope that helps

It should go into the system tray where you can click on it. Or there’s function keys you can press. Can’t remember exactly, F9 or F10. It should tell you them in the preferences or before you press record. Hope that helps

Yes you can. You can record within vs but it’s very basic and you need to create the audio in one take (I can’t and don’t use this). Instead I record my audio outside of vs and import it. I then use that as my guide to time all the animations.

Excellent tutorial! I'm happy I stumbled upon your video. This is exactly what I've been looking for. I watched a KZbin video of a couple who went on safari. Their video starts off with them taking a selfie video while riding in a jeep and the word SAFARI is behind them. Ever since I saw this video, I've been obsessed with finding out g how they achieved this effect. Thanks to you, now I know! You're the Man!!

I strongly advise against purchasing Wondershare products due to their unfair no-refund policy. I recently bought Wondershare MobileTrans and quickly realized it wasn't suitable for transferring WhatsApp data. After using it for just one hour, I canceled my membership and requested a refund. Unfortunately, their AI bot wasted my time, and when I finally reached a team agent, I was told that they do not process refunds for "wrong orders" or "change of mind." Wondershare, you've just lost me and over 200 potential customers in a single click with this childish policy. Keep up the good work-if driving customers away is your goal.

They used to offer a lifetime license. Not any more. Now you pay annually and get any updates for as long as you subscribe. Or you buy a perpetual licence but it’s only that major version. This is off the top of my head so would need checking, but that was the model last time I looked. Thanks again for the feedback.

If I open filmora the initial splash screen has a button called “screen recorder “ Even if I ignore that and create a new project, I can click on media tab, the record dropdown button, choose record pc screen. That then opens a smaller screen where you can activate / choose your webcam or mic or set the screen size (full, custom, target). Do you not get the same options? What version of filmora are you using if not?

Ok. The guy I learnt a lot from was Zach Crawford. Check him out. AM is simple enough concept. I would decide what platform you want to create on, then research how to create content (that serves your audience), how to create an email list and how to find and promote products that people need/want. A mentor is usually when you want direct feedback, encouragement and accountability (these usually come with a high price tag). My main advice is to pick the right platform and focus on the process of creating content.
