How is this helmet holding up with the cardio while riding? How is the sound quality

Sound quality is good for what it is, but it’s not comparable to headphones. I wear ear plugs and I can still hear the music pretty well while on the highway. The cardo gets loud but I wish there was more bass. It’s worth it if you like to listen to music but don’t expect headphone like quality.

I don’t have a frame of reference this is my first helmet, but I tried a medium and it was too loose so I had to get a small. I measured my head and followed the chart and I was between a small and medium so I would say go for the smaller size if your in between sizes.

Just bought my 1200 Monster, takes me 10 attempts to find a neutral gear, do you have any advice on how to find it easily?)

I would say to practice shifting from first or second gear to neutral for 10-15 min with the bike off. The more you do it the better you’ll get you just have to take your time and focus on being smooth when shifting

I had a similar issue, for me it was due to the cardio app volume being set halfway. I think the sound quality of the speakers is ok it’s not amazing, but for helmet speakers I haven’t seen too many options that are better.

Hey thanks a lot for making this video, one doubt i had- have you changed your mic placement? or are you still rocking the same position for the mic as shown in the vid? (behind the cheek-pad). And how has call clarity been for the person on the other side of calls while using this mic?

Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it. I kept the mic in the same spot I have no issues with it. If anything it being behind the pad helps with making the audio clearer there’s less background noise but you do have to speak louder.

I can’t remember the exact cost but it was about 600 dollars for the bolt kit, gasket, oil for the from transfer case, seals and etc

I would say it’s not a quite helmet there is quite a bit of wind noise. If you’re wearing ear plugs it’s not bad at all. If you care about having a quite helmet then I wouldn’t recommend it, but if you can live with a bit of wind noise it’s an amazing helmet

Great Question, as far as I know for the state of Texas. If you obtain a motorcycle endorsement in California and say moved to Texas it would transfer. I would assume it would be similar for other states but I’m only familiar with Texas. Hope that helps😃

I took mine in July, first time I’d ever even been on a motorcycle. Learned so much but got so nervous and failed ( I’ve always been one to know the material but am not a good test taker)I practice everyday and here I am gonna take the retake tomorrow. I am so nervous I’m doing it on my own bike which is good but even more embarssing if I don’t pass again.

@attacks117 yes, but usually if you pick a good school to do the msf course through they will work with you. You may have to pay a little more but generally they will find some sort of compromise

How does the helmet fit? I’m in between S and M on most helmets. I wear a shoei rf sr size S and it’s great. I tried some AGV helmets and had to go M or L. I do have a long oval face so I’m curious how a KYT helmet would fit. Thanks!

On the size chart I’m between a S and M for KYT helmets. I just roughly measured my head. But I ended up going with a small the medium was too loose on the sides. I have kind of an oval shape as well.

Overall the helmet fits really well. I prefer a snug fit so I went with a small. But I would say if your between sizes according to the size chart go with the smaller size.

😂😂that is a struggle. I would say just try a few brands I tired a few helmets at cycle gear and didn’t like them. I ordered the kyt and liked it but I got a medium so I had to return it and get a small.
