El audio del segundo show se conseguía en el mismo KZbin. Será posible que alguna Alma Buena lo haya descargado lo comparta con los creadores de este remaster?

Paul Desmond is the sax player. Someone asked if he was really that good . . that he never played with miles Davis or Coltrane. . . Desmond died a bunch of years ago but he’s like the Leonardo or Hiroshige of painting.

I know Dolphy and Coltrane are gods. For me, taking it slow like Miles just plain old sounds better. It's about as close to actual Mississippi blues that jazz gets.

I feel I need to comment....I adore the multitude of subtleties Paul brings with him, but this time he also brought along the goose bump raising harmonies of Ed Bickert....can never tire of this track..those lines against those chords ....glad I had the good fortune to enjoy this good fortune

Any chance you have Burning Spear at this show? I was backstage and blew an enormous hit into the fan blowing out onto the stage. It hit the crowd and a wave of elated acknowledgment was heard. One of the best days of my live.

No, but I taped Burning Spear in Austin in 1999. It's on my YT channel. Great show. A friend of mine from college, Mark Wilson, played sax in his band at the time.

hello brother no you're wrong it's not in Pittsburgh, I have the CD and it's not at all the same music, I know it by heart this last concert be blessed 🚦🎶
@cooljazzr
@cooljazzr 5 ай бұрын
It's definitely the last 3 songs of his final Pittsburgh show. I have the commercial CD of the show and it has a different, inferior audience recording of those 3 songs. This is just a better quality recording. Why the record company used that inferior audience recording on the commercial release is a mystery.

@Bylka.Wailers. I have the double CD and it has these last 3 songs, but from a different audience tape that sounds terrible, very harsh and bad sound quality. I got these in a tape trade about 20 years ago, obviously from a different taper who used better equipment, much better sound. I'm guessing that the guy who taped this version demanded a lot of money so Island Records refused and used the inferior version on the CD. I'd still like to get the full audience tape of this version I posted, amazing sound quality for an audience recording. If you just have a single CD, that's why it doesn't have these songs. The version I posted here is, again, much better quality than the audience tape of these songs on the CD release.

Fuk cancer…it’s taken good people from us, rich or poor, young or old, cancer doesn’t discriminate. Sweet Robert Nesta Marley, for what he did in his 36 years, only makes me wonder what other things this fine man would have achieved. He fulfilled the book, and left no task incomplete, he just ran out of pages in His book.🙏
