Get some for a Kia Sorento I believe it was (you’ll have to do some research my memory isn’t perfect) but those open the trunk and are still fairly easy to close. They don’t have so much power like these that it will move your panel

Are you talking about the side airbag on the driver side? I pulled the pillar forward just a little bit because it won’t come off all the way, then I ran the wire behind the airbag and pulled it on the other side by the door. It’s a tight space so be patient.

@@liquidh5226 It’s a tough one for sure. Pull it forward slowly just so you can run the wire behind the airbag because you can’t remove it completely. You will need all new clips if you completely remove the pillar, at least that’s what I was told.

3rd gen IS only. Pretty much all Lexus vehicles from 2013 and up. 2nd IS tech is old so it won’t work for it.

Thanks for this video, it helped me out a lot. I used the jack stands along with heavy duty 3 foot long zip ties from harbor freight to help hold up the hitch, it was a life saver. I also used electrical tape to tie the two spacers together to prevent from sliding. Hope this helps someone.

How did you get the GPS to work since you didnt use the cable that has the GPS built in? Does the hardwire kit give you GPS?

I never used the GPS system because i didn’t get the cable. Anyways I don’t have this dashcam anymore, I have vantrue now which come with gps.

Sensor 2 is connected to the catalyst converter so you have to remove it under the hood by the engine. Plus you can go to auto store and have them clear the code for you.

@@nashfuller4642 nope still haven’t been able to. I found a video on a 2016 300is that shows how to change some O2 sensors that might help. Haven’t had time to actually go out and check it. My check engine light keeps turning on and off so idk if to replace it at this point or not.

@SlowWhip Thank you. I got the vehicle with a leaking valve cover gasket, leaking transmission lower gasket and bad valve seals. Previous owner said it was mint and the mechanic who checked it said it was mint. So i went ahead and bought it. The valve cover gasket leak dripped oil onto the starter and alternator and messed them up. So only the valve seals to be changed. The car had high compression but at 5 6000 rpms it sends out a puff of smoke. Oil being burnt.

I also own a 2011 AWD IS350, not f sport. Idk if they had a F sport. But your mods are sick. I also did many mods. The only thing left that I really want to do is change the wheels, rims, break pads and calipers. I just don’t understand the wheel size.

Thank you. You have to go all square since your IS350 is AWD. You can either do 18x8.5 or 19x8.5 all around.

I have lexus is350 2006 RWD ( LEFT HAND DRIVE) I installed this part today 89650-53030 lexus isf and the moment I started the car and rotated tghe steering it kept moving by itself without any stopping. I switched it off not sure why this happens. I appreciate your help

You’re welcome. To calibrate the ecu techstream will ask you to turn the steering wheel 90 degrees left then back to center and turn it 90 degrees right then go back to center, the steering wheel will vibrate for a few seconds and stop. Techstream will ask to click ok and inform you that your ecu has been calibrated. If you do anything wrong during that time, techstream will make you start it all over again until you get it right.

Thank you I appreciate it. Even after removing the under spoiler, you still have to use the spacers to attach this particular section of the hitch to the frame because of the design. So basically you need to use the spacers for the front of the hitch to reach the frame so you can assemble the whole kit.

When lowering your car did your axles get destroyed? I have a is250 and sum owners tell me when putting coil overs the axles will go at sum point

I don’t think so and I installed f sport lowering springs which is lexus oem parts. People run coilovers on these cars with no problems. Although they can go bad if you slam the car to the ground without doing any other adjustments.
