Unfortunately Mailchimp can't capture that information. It will only pick up that the link was clicked. You may be able to find a developer that can code something for this but it isn't easy.

@oasisonus it will depend on whether you are collecting any personal data on your customers. If you are purely a physical retailer and not asking for email addresses for receipts you may not be collecting data. If you are an online retailer you will be collecting data and most likely will need to register.

Oh I forgot to say that you don’t have any staff members and your address on companies house is a paid registered office address because the business doesn’t have nor require a physical location. Also what types of businesses do you know of that fall into the exemption category?

@@esco.letsgo to be honest I don't know of any that have fallen into the exemption category as pretty much every business processes personal data.

If you look down the page beneath the rows of contacts you should get an option to display more than 25 - you can only show up to 100 but there should also be an option to 'edit all' at the top if you haven't get them all showing.

@michabags even if you don't need to pay the fee you still need to comply with GDPR so should ensure that your business is protecting the data it handles and that you have the correct policies in place.

Hi Tommy, whilst eBay is collecting the data, they are doing it on your behalf as you are the business owner. When you access the personal data on eBay to print the labels you are processing that personal data, and you are choosing how to process this - in this case reading it and printing it. Therefore based on my understanding of this you would answer 'yes' to question 4 and should be registered with the ICO. If you are unsure, I would suggest you call the ICO directly and discuss this with them, as the results of the self-assessment don't exempt you if they decide you should be registered.

Are you thinking more of a table? You can add cells by clicking across and then put in the numbers and dates/names that you want in the cells. Let me know if this is what you are looking for.

This can be useful if you want to follow up with people who were sent a specific email as you can segment by the tags. I think you should contact the ICO directly about this, I would suspect that as your company is registered in the UK you will need to register but I'm not 100% certain.

Yes, if you are going to be collecting customer details at the point of sale you will be processing data and should be registered with the ICO in the UK as a data controller.

@@Cardena3 you will need to tag people to identify which form they completed when signing up and then this can be used to trigger the emails.
