Mines got the spike bayonet :/ yucky. Oldie but yucky. Don’t like switching original parts but might have to replace with a blade bayonet
@Tula1940_LB3 сағат бұрын
@BradSnyder493 The channel in the stock is physically different. Won't fit. Most Chinese SKS rifles are spike bayonets so I'd leave it alone.

@@Tula1940_LB I collect antique bayonets, swords, knives and arms from the 1950s to the 1200s. End of the day my “standard issue” ugly ass spike bayonet looks awful 😭

Why do my Bulgarian mags have like a green tint to them like they aren't black
@Tula1940_LB11 күн бұрын
@tarrelljones7259 Yep that's the case with some Bulgarian mags. I'm not sure if it was a just a byproduct of a different blend of plastic or intentional camouflage. Either way green circle 10s are rare and worth about $100 each.

Can you post a link to that jig? I looked on their site and can’t find it

When replacing the dust cover, which hooks onto the recoil rod, there's no need to wrestle it in with your thumb. Simply push the spring forward, and place a 7.62x54 cartridge with the bullet nose in the recoil rod's dimple (which is what it's for), and with the back resting/bracing against the rear of the receiver. The length is exactly right for the cover to be hooked onto the rod; then you can remove the cartridge and let it back slowly.

I have a 1933 Turkish Mauser
@Tula1940_LBАй бұрын
@user-xb7fk4bo7m It's probably older then that. The dates written in numbers are rebuild dates when they were converted to 8mm Mauser. There should be arabic writing that should date it. It'll come up with a number in the 1300s but you simply must convert that from the Turkish calendar to our calendar. I have a friend who has a 1894 Mauser model 93 converted in 1933.
