You're citing Isaiah 64:6 completely out of context. The "filthy rags" comment is used to describe the UN-righteous acts of the people, it is not referring to obeying any of the Most High's Commandments, or to trying to be saved by works. Moreover, the wages of sin is death, not roasting in some blasphemous, and most unbiblical "Hell".

This guy lies at every turn. It is amazing how natural it comes to him to slander the Living God! All the things he is saying are cultural Christianity and doctrines invented by Protestant preachers. They are not the Testimony of God. That Testimony rebukes him as a false teacher. You'd better stop listening to these charlatans who stuff their mouths with your tithes. Go read your Bible without any preconceived ideas. Put them all aside and read the Gospel accounts of Jesus and his teachings. It will take 40 days. DO NOT listen to or talk with any Christians and don't go to church and don't watch Christian videos on KZbin during this time. Let Christ's own words speak to you.

John 13:35 talks about discipleship (fellowship with God -- growing process and can be volatile as it's experiential) and not salvation (relationship with God -- permanent and positional truth). The only criteria for salvation and key evidence of salvation is that a person has put their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior (e.g. John 3:16, 36, 6:47, Acts 16:31, etc.). God's kind of love is an awesome quality of course (e.g. Rom 5:5, 1 Cor. 13:13) in the believer as it's part of the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Gal. 5:22), but that's already part of the discipleship/maturity process of growing in the Grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). Salvation has to be by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Using any outward manifestation of a changed life/behavior modification, works, fruit(s), gift(s), etc. as criteria for the evidence of salvation, although these things will usually accompany genuine salvation, is simply not the Gospel of Grace. It has to be Ephesians 2:8-9, "For you have been saved by grace through believing [faith]. You did not save yourselves; it was a gift from God. It was not the result of your own efforts [works], so no one can brag about it."

Hello Canton Baptist Temple. I heard one of your sermons on the radio on January 23, in the evening. I liked what I heard so I looked you guys up on Facebook & KZbin to listen more. Just wondering, what Bible do you use & does all Pastor's use the same version? Thank you in advance.

Works are only filthy rags for those without the Holy Spirit. James taught that works are required for Salvation. Jesus also taught - No Works - No Salvation. “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’ “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’ “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’ “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.” The Book Of Matthew Also, the man who was given a talent and buried it was rejected by God because he didn't do any works. The Book Of James 2:20-25 "Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, 'Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.'And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?" The theif on the cross was also saved because he had faith and he acted on his faith through works when he defended Jesus. He was then justified by his works. Faith must be accompanied by action - meaning works. Revelation 20:13 "The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works."

Very good, but let us consider that in this age our obedience, our following of Jesus, will not necessarily restore our country. First off, the US is no Christian nation, it wasn't built by Christian founders, & it is not innocent & free from the troubles coming to the world. These are the later days of this world as it is. We see the birth pangs or troubles of the world increasing with frequency & severity. These are signs of the return of Christ. As we look at the church, we see so many who have "belief" in Christ & label themselves "Christian", but they don't actually lay down their lives, repent, & follow Christ. In this we can see the Abomination of Desolation in the Holy Place. We when calling ourselves Christ's people "Christians", are to be Holy, our bodies being the Holy Temple of God, but so many today look nothing like Jesus, they claim to be his, but their lives are full of abominations. Now is the time for people to wake up to this mistake. Leave their old lives & their empty belief or religion, & truly give their lives to Christ, to follow him, to allow him to clean them, to be in repentance, & to become dressed in their finest spiritual clothes for when the King comes calling.

As much as I agree with this message, we must all recognize that there are many genuine Christian’s that will be sensual for many years of their lives even decades before they overcome that sin. If God used Rahab the prostitute to protect Joshua, he certainky can and will use sensual Christians to further his kingdom. Sensual Christian’s are under grace, let’s remember that.
