I would much rather pay a extra 120$ my property tax on a city wide garbage pickup contract than 272$ a year to gfl for the same service! I would think it would be pretty easy to figure out how many properties for the contract from the cities current tax intake documents

Please do not get in the habit of mailing out QR codes. They are fundamentally insecure and are prone to human error. You are risking a single point of failure that could lead to a significant problem in the future.

@@kedtealeaf Hi Mat, agendas are typically published on the Friday before the meeting. So you should see next week's meetings posted sometime on Fridays. Just a note, per state law we need to post agendas no less than 24 hours in advance, so there are some limited situations we need to call a meeting quickly. In that case we may post an agenda or amend an agenda with 24 hour notice. We also post them on a specific facebook page: facebook.com/profile.php?id=100079096892752 if you like this page you should receive notifications in your feed of the new posting.

The recommendation at 52 minutes is good. Creating a boardwalk behind the buildings on bank street would be phenomenal. I'd rather have that then a raised pedestrian walkway to the train station.

This is a terrific idea. I live in the NLSD area and vote in every election. This presentation gives me a look at each of the candidates and decide if they match my views on how to govern. Thank you for this.

Melissa Mulroy’s World Famous Potato Soup Ingredients: -1 dozen firm, medium to large white potatoes -2T bacon fat (or 2T oil of choice) -1 Large onion (finely minced) -1T chopped parsley -¼ tsp nutmeg -1 tsp dry mustard -1 tsp Worcestershire -3T horseradish -Few grinds of fresh black pepper -butter, salt, milk to taste and consistency -grated Swiss cheese Peel and boil potatoes in a soup kettle. While the potatoes are cooking, heat bacon fat (vegetarians can use oil) in a sauté pan, adding onion, finely minced, to the sauté pan add chopped parsley, nutmeg, dry mustard, Worcestershire, horseradish, and a few grinds of fresh black pepper. Drain potatoes and coarsely mash with butter, salt and whole milk to taste. Leave the potatoes lumpy so the soup has good texture. (If it’s too runny, it will look like grits.) Add the sautéed onions with seasonings to the soup kettle. Keep adding milk or water until soup is thinned down to a nice consistency. When ready to serve, top each bowl with grated Swiss cheese. Serve with Irish soda bread.
