I changed out wheelsets and couplers for about 100 pieces of rolling stock. I hate talgo trucks so I cut off all the couplers and body mounted Kadee couplers. It gets quite expensive to do that many freight cars. Cheers from eastern TN

It can get expensive but I've been doing it slowly over time, so it doesn't smash the pocket.

VIA’s stainless steel cars don’t have corrugation above the windows like your model has. To me, it looks a lot more like a Santa Fe streamlined coach.

Probably not in real life but I put one in on the side that has the trains going past to block some train noise. Just thought it would look nice around the grave yard. I might add some square planter boxes hanging along the fence with some Benches.

The original cars you have are from Athearn. The Athearn trucks are not very free rolling compared to the Rapido ones. I have six Athearn cars and my locomotive struggles pulling them. The cab car (the car you have second back from the locomotive) should be at the end of the train, it gives the engineer controls and a window to run the train in reverse.
