We have a Norwood and a Limkin Rubin. We like the Norwood better and I like that it’s built in the United States. Anything built in the USA is better than anything built in Germany.

If you have heavy residue you will probably do 2 passes with any vertical till. One primary and a second finishing tool. The best field cultivation tool is a box of matches and a honest relationship with your local fire chief.

I wonder how it would handle a rock at that speed.

Each shank is independent with four rubber elements to provide pretension. This allows each shank to skate over obstructions and spring back to operating position.

Damn that's impressive. Does it take that much horsepower?
@NorwoodSales6 жыл бұрын
We typically say 15 HP per foot to obtain 10-15 mph working speeds, but it can vary based on soil conditions and terrain.

In Canada we finish corn in Dec to take advantage of freeze drying...which means tillage gets pushed back...a little snow keeps the mud off the tracks too. Beautiful job.
