ever since i was a kid it was a personal tradition for me to rebeat the game every summer ive heard a lot of remixes of the super hexagon soundtrack yet none have felt as unique and actually well done as this, im really eager to hear a remix of focus by you

Ah the memories of being terrible at Super Hexagon but powering through just because of the music. I love how your remix retain the intensity of this track but adds some new layers on it

I'm always shocked at what the OPL3 is capable of. Excellent cover!

why is it so annoyingly panned to the right

The fact that this only uses 8 channels is impressive for a port of a music that uses 24 channels.

can't believe this chip is capable of anything from farts and drums that sound like slapping a bucket of rubber, to imitating an entire orchestra

Hey, I’m not very much into sound chips, but I guess for an FM chip it sounds pretty good? They usually sound worse? And what the program was used to visualize this? 😮

You're such a good musician, and this is one of my favorite OST... man, what a way to start the day. Percussive sounds are FM too if I'm not mistaken? Do you use two detuned channels for strings or detuned modulator? I was thinking the latter but my ear cannot pick up different beating speeds with varying pitches. Congrats anyway, it sounds gorgeous
@64Abstract4 күн бұрын
OPL line of chips dont have detune per operator, so it's the former instead :)

Didn't expect a huge wave of nostalgia from an osu! skin I used to (and still) use! YUGEN uses that song as the pass screen song (although I removed it since new maps may have an outro jingle and osu!lazer has a whole sequence with sfx that plays over it), but I've easily heard it thousands of times in the years I've been playing osu! Amazing cover as always!

Samples? Where we're going, we don't need samples. 😎 Piano, tambourine, strings that sound like they have a loop point, all with FM? Very cool.

it has been some weeks since i began to listen to your musics and you manage to make **each** one of them a bliss to hear, this is really amazing! on a sidenote, i would recommend you bundling some music on playlists based on the soundfonts or whatever it is called(SPC700, YM2151, et cetera)
