I know packrats are “rats”, but does this work on them? I too, have property in [coastal/forest] Oregon and I get packrats in our attic. I’ve NEVER caught one in a kill trap and only once in a live trap (mean, nasty bastards 👹 they are) as they seem to not be attracted to the usual rat bait items. Thanks for your informative videos!

Thank you so much for this INFORMATIVE video! I live in a tiny old house, in town, but near grain bins. The mice are horrible in here! Being on disability (MS), it's hard to spend so much on traps, sticky paper, etc. It was breaking me and although they got a lot of mice, got a lot of my money too. Good job thinking ahead on the wildfire threat, have you thought about a couple of 275 gallon water tanks and a trash pump with some 1 inch forestry hose to surround the home and animals? fight what you can type of mind set if you can keep the fires small or a wet line around your home with sprinklers? just a thought I have because that is what I have here and in ct we are not in a wild fire threat, now we are good and wet but things can change over the summer into the fall fire season.

We also have moles that make our yard look like a minefield. And tunnels everywhere. I have been trapping squirrels and relocating but they don’t seem to be interested that anymore. I found the baking soda and cornmeal mix worked a few times but then they got wise. They won't eat it anymore so that tells me it worked. I started mixing just baking soda with grease from broiled hotdogs in the pan. They eat it up! My question to you my friend is, Do you think the baking soda works when dampened by the grease?

I would drill holes in the bottom of the battery cases,to let the water out, I lurned the hard way, at 7 below 0 I had ice battery's, ruined my new batteries, after drilling, no more problems, water gets in then drains right out.
