12 años viviendo en capital federal y hablas de forma honesta pero nunca diferenciaste entre buenos aires y la ciudad autonoma de buenos aires, ojo con ese error, buenos aires es la provincia y los lugares que tus mencionas en el video son capital federal o la ciudad autonoma de buenos aires (CABA), esos son sus nombre, NO buenos aires a secas.

Brian, Caramba: this video is a God send: it really hits key points: * Neighbourhood shops: I love the intimacy, the community relationships. (I loved this when I taught in Cyprus). *parks & their frequent usage: again, community. * coverage by govt medical system: this is so important. * good transport system: don't need a car. (I had this when I taught ESL in Korea & China, great!). * bikes: wonderful: exercise, convenience, saves $. I've been watching this video every time I need a 'pick me up': I'm looking into retiring overseas (from Canada) & your video is very encouraging for BA. Gracias! Viva la libertad, carajo!

I have a Range Rover, a $60k Harley, and Ducati that I will be bringing with me wherever I move. My friends who are born and raised in BA tell me "I love my city and my country but do not go. It is not safe for someone like you. you will have a target on your back". Yet, all KZbinrs say it is so safe. What do you say to that?

I'm sold! I'm considering retirement options. I lived, backpacked Europe for 7 months in '98 and definitely have some favorite places I'd consider for retirement but aren't affordable on social security and a pension! Buenos Aires seems to have the old European flare!

We are traveling all of Latin America in search of our favorite retirement city. We love cool weather, speak Spanish, and hope to find a city where we can live comfy for $2000 or less...if possible. We really do not go out at night...just not our thing. We also tend to enjoy the less touristy areas, to hang with locals. What are a couple neighborhoods that are less touristy than Palermo, that you like ? Thanks !

I dare to say, a good 97% of homes in Argentina have a mate. Although not all of them have a termo, a lot of people use the water directly from the kettle (I personally don't like that way, because the water gets cold very quickly, a good old termo keeps the right temperature).

The guaranies lived in a big are a that now is called Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina and Bolivia. Paraguay is around 200 years old. The mate was dated already in the XVI century. The indigenous were using long before Spaniards arrived.
