Content was really hard to listen through, the audio was unstable and intermittently between low and hard to hear and fine enough. Felt like one was listening to half a lecture with semi-missing words. It's shame with what was a very interesting topic, couldn't focus with the audio on, ended up just turning it off and reading the text which kinda worked. Not top marks unfortunately.

Thank you for your feedback. We will investigate any audio issues and make improvements for next time.

This podcast has covered some good issues being faced & possibilities of different scenarios development teams or a PO goes through. Smart use of empiricism by a PO, it was good time spend.

I'm a software developer, and to me, it's a bit challenging to understand the practical difference from this video. What's been described as Professional Scrum is what I understand as Scrum, with all these positive attitudes and processes that can help improve productivity and satisfaction. I think it would be helpful to use an example to fully understand the difference, rather than relying on Scrum jargon to convey that.

Thanks for these clear explanations. I do have a comment: I really don't like these hand-writting in videos. It sounds stupid but I cannot focus on what it said or written. Maybe I'm not the only one :)

There's quite a few videos about Cynefin, but few good ones. I like this one because the game analogy for the first 3 domains is VERY helpful. Would've appreciated touching on the Chaos domain - and wondering what the equivalent game for that would be. White-water kayaking, maybe, lol.

So smile, say yes to everything, and do work that's totally outside your skillset and experience. What could possibly go wrong?
@orgwhisperer3 ай бұрын
@TheLucanicLord - I'm sorry that my video touched a nerve. My intent was to suggest that Scrum might be best suited for people who might have one area of specialization and love learning new skills in service of the team and customers. If this does not make someone smile, joining a Scrum team might not be consistent with their values and goals.

It's lucky for you that at least they speak out. My team never does so; instead, they burrow deep down inside, and no matter how the Scrum Master tries to help and asks questions, "It's okay, I'm fine" is the most received answer. instead buried deep down inside, and no matter how Scrum Master tries to help and asks questions, "It's ok, I'm fine" is the most received answer.

Here's another metaphor: would you expect a plumber to fix an electrical problem?
@orgwhisperer3 ай бұрын
@@TheLucanicLord - here's another metaphor - what if a plumbing specialist CHOSE to work on a team of handymen with the sincere desire to learn new trades and pitch in wherever and whenever they could to serve their clients? If someone is a plumber and wants to do nothing but plumbing, they might not choose to be on a team of cross-functional team of handymen All analogies are flawed, so this analogy will also break down. My perspective is that joining a Scrum team is a valid choice for people who might specialize in one skill, but love developing new skills and helping customers more than they love doing only one kind of work.

To me still too much emphasis on intra-team silos vs collaboration. IMO all accountabilities are team accountabilities. Self-organise to learn how to get better at fulfilling them AS A TEAM. Doing like described in video may be a working solution for some contexts, but i never would generalize that as a one-size-fits-all and at all times.

3:03: This is a good example, some remarks to make it even clearer: - For Transparency, it would help to define specific indicators that everyone agrees on to recognize when they are 'lost'. - For Inspection, a sign every mile helps you get feedback on your state of being lost or not, up to 15 times faster in this scenario. This emphasizes the importance of regular feedback loops to identify early if you are lost. - For Adaptation, quicker feedback allows you to adjust your road trip more rapidly when going off track, which drastically improves your outcome (getting where you want, fast). :)
