Good results, your comments on engine smoothness & mpg, oil report on additives & viscosity, do indicate the quality of AmsOil. You could easily go longer, well above 5000 possibly based on oil analysis showing viscosity remains high and metals low. The only thing I noticed was engine is only 3 qts, so not a major expense to run shorter intervals. Purpose of oil analysis is determining the life of oil and maximizing the life to reduce oil change intervals while oil continues to provide best service. Many viewpoints to change oil at 2500 to 4000 is based around conventional crude non-synthetic oil, not full synthetic oil; This is where oil analysis has helped awareness, using science. Oil Analysis was focused on fleet service and large capacity crankcases such as diesels. When oil capacity is 13-26 quarts, there is a higher desire to maximize oil life & mileage. Running AmsOil (and other quality brands) 10k miles begins to show the quality of the oil compared to others that begin to decline at 3-5k miles. Many will determine using Oil Analysis they can extend longer than 10k without oil breakdown or lack of any performance. Changing a Diesel Truck’s 16 quarts every 4-5k when it could be just as safe at 10-12k miles provides a significant 50% reduction in oil expense, compared to an oil that shouldn’t go beyond 5k miles. If you’re going to spend the money on oil analysis ($30-60), then use the analysis to find a safe extended milage distance. To use oil analysis and continue to apply "common practice" change intervals isn’t using the science or providing any benefit, just an added oil cost. That said, on a small engine of only 3 qts, you might extend 500 miles between tests & oil changes. On higher oil capacity, common practice is 1000-2000 extensions. You might find 6000-6500 still providing same protection & performance.

Manganese from fuel. Most probably coming from piston rings. Better the oil higher is the number meaning cleaning ability. Moly and boron friction modifier. Boron can be ester. Amsoil uses their base stock group 4 and uses certain useful additives more than others. Compare to Pennzoil ultra(5qts jar) or Valvoline R &P (5qts) $29.99 amsoil cost twice more. You should never go by their advertising 25k miles on a single oil change but if I say go for 10k, then with that price I can change 2 oil change every 5k miles. Let's do oil analysis with 10k amsoil and 5k Pennzoil. Also remember with 5k you don't have to put 3 extra qts. Do the math 😊. By the way I use amsoil too. But I try to change every 5-7.5K miles 😊
