One factor is delivering the script and another factor is how you deliver the script. Fidel delivers the script in a calm, casual manner as if he were chatting with the prospect over coffee in a Starbucks. Really puts a prospect at ease!

Loved that Stacey took a second at the end to cover the invite. While it is a minor thing, invite make a difference in placing the event on the prospect's calendar so they do not forget or get double-booked. Nice work, Stacey!

Thought Ebony did a good job of setting an educational tone for the next step. Prospects often think they will have to make a buying decision right away and that keeps them from taking a meeting. Ebony framed the next step as informational for when staffing becomes more urgent down the road. Takes pressure off the appointment. Great work!

Patrick's style stands out in a digital age with AI callers. His variation in tonality (sometime higher in pitch, sometimes lower) and pace of speech (sometimes faster, sometimes slower) along with an occasional stutter shows authenticity. There's a sense of personality and realness in it that builds trust with a prospect. Keep it up, Patrick!

Several moving parts that made this conversation easier. First, the relevant offer of sending panel takeaways to prospects who attended it. The familiarity warms up the cold call. Second, the SDR fit. Kirsten sounded like she knew the script like the back of her hand. She delivered it with calmness and confidence. That's a recipe for success!

Kudos for not just asking for the name listed, but seeing if someone else is involved. As the call shows, that research question opens the caller up to other stakeholders they weren't aware of before. Nice market research work, Merry!

Sammy speaks with a nice pace. She doesn't rush or mumble through the script. She also leaves space in between statements that allow the prospect to interject if they want. Makes for a quality conversation where trust is built!

I like that Veronica read back the email to confirm she heard it right. It is dangerous to assume you have a handle on the spelling without making sure. Those little things make big differences when sending info and invites via email!

This was a natural, free-flowing conversation. Merry was not word vomiting or using technical marketing jargon that people don't say on a day-to-day. Merry spoke very simply, facilitated a two-way dialogue, and built value. Way to go!

Oww good question. I don't think I've read any books on that topic specifically. Although how to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie might be one that can help in that way. Such a pretty good standard on how to treat people.

And a cold is nothing if value isnt added! its an empty promise, that rarley delivers. Add Value with impact, like Ryan states, and now they have a REASON to show up!

Mohib, thanks for the comment! You have to show your value. You don't need to have a ton of experience, but you do need to show them you can do the job. Build your features, benefits, and accolades (accomplishments) and package them. In the beginning, customers will buy you, not your company. That is fine. Use yourself as your own case study and build from there. Your first customer is your first case study. Happy to talk more. -Ryan

Great insights, Dennys! Just a reminder to all companies that they should ensure that the telemarketers are verifying first that prospect clients they are calling didn't opt to be under Do-Not-Call list, or else, that's a violation and they may sue you for that.
