That’s like saying all GM vehicles are bad. Doesn’t make much sense. Forest River is a holding company but that doesn’t mean they are all bad.

Sorry, bad advjce. RV slides are not supported, nor designed to be occupied when retracted. Therefore, you risk damaging your slide mechanism if you fold down the dinette & and use it as a bed while the slide is in.

Actually only certain slides are that way. The power gear slides CAN be used and walked in when closed.

They make bigger ones with slides. These are designed to be as small and compact as possible.

One thing I would like to see them do that wouldn’t take much effort on their part or cost, but it would save a lot of labor cost on solar upfitting… I would like to see them run about a 1 inch conduit from the panel where all the control panels are down into the storage area below, so if you want to add any more control panels that you can easily chase the wire up in there without tearing a bunch of stuff apart. That’s the most logical place anyone is going to want to mount any additional control panels… And most additional Upfitter hardware is either going to be located in that front storage compartment or in the pass-through storage compartment. So the conduit should just have a pull box in each compartment so you can put wires in from either location.

These Verandas are really cool, but no drawers in the kitchen. Where do you keep silverware & utensils? Should be a stack of drawers underneath the table. Along with a 110 outlet .

To anyone looking at this year and model.. a few things to be aware of.. before you buy run the furnace and the stove at the same time... theres a draw amd it sucks the flame into the stove.. really fun. Also, dont leave the lot with those china bomb tires.

They are actually pretty good tires. Most blowouts and tire issues come from improper tire maintenance and tire pressure and/or overloading the trailer. If the dealer is doing a proper PDI you shouldn’t have the issue with the stove. We never saw that issue at all when I was selling this brand.

955 hitch weight which will only increase with bedroom storage...marketed for a half ton truck??? I just ran the calcs on an F150 with the extended tow package and this does not leave a lot of room. Am I missing something?

Good afternoon, yes this is a camper with the heater and enclosed underbelly. As far as rated 4 seasons it depends on what part of the country you’re in. In Tx yes. In North Dakota definitely not. Hope that helps.

It’s still overweight for that pickup and as a sales professional I can’t in good conscience recommend that anyone pull a 5th wheel with a 1/2 ton truck unless it’s one that has the max towing AND the max payload packages. The only 1/2 ton that can pull a loaded 5th wheel like this and not be overweight is the F150 with the max towing and max payload package. Air bags don’t increase the payload capacity of a pickup. You’re welcome to do whatever you want but I can’t put my name on a deal like that if I know it’s overweight and could potentially get someone hurt of killed down the road because the trailer is too heavy for the truck.

Because if you do your preventative maintenance the chances of that happening are slim to none. I have a 2010 5th wheel I’ve owned since 2010 and it has had no cracks, delamination, or anything like that. Most people don’t wax their fiberglass once a year or maintain their seals like they are supposed to.

I can't wait to see what Brinkley's premium line looks like. I'm guessing this is in line with the grand design reflection series. And soon they will be releasing something to compete with the solitudes.

So Brinkley’s place in the market is a little bit different than most. These Model Zs are actually comparable to the Solitude, Montana, and North Point already. When/if they release their next tier up it’s going to be comparable to the Pinnacle, DRV, and Riverstone.

@@RVingwithCory That's fine. I just hope they have a short floor plan. Something like 35 ft. I've been looking for a luxury couple's fifth wheel up to and including the quality of drv that's 35 ft or less. Usually when you go to that quality level they like to bump up to 40 plus feet. I think this shortest drv is like 38 ft.

This is our 6th RV and the quality, fit/finish of this unit is second to none in the price category it is in. Want a New Horizon or DRV? Pay 3x more and you can have one that is better. Until then, this is the best you can get. Yes, we shopped Grand Design and Alliance - no comparison.
