I think the game looks good but feels a bit shallow since you are carried from A to B without any real challenges. Another thing you mentioned is the missing action in the game in regards to teams of AI construction workers doing different tasks and making it at least seem like they are contributing instead of the progressed work suddenly appearing out of nowhere and sometimes snagging the machines if they are to close to the structures. THe digging also seem bugged since the dirt is poorly simulated. Excavator buckets showing almost half full when indicator is showing full are things that ruins a lot of immersion in addition to weird driving physics.

It looks good and feels refreshing. I don't mind Jack of all Trades games, especially not if they actually try to flesh out all of the systems they implemented, unlike games like Star Citizen which just intend to pump out features that lack any depth. The visit feature feels very much like Bannerlord and I do like that a lot. Those simple things make you feel better involved and immersed in a setting even if they aren't necessary features to help you advance in the game.

I’m starting to think that HOTAS doesn’t work on consoles because my Xbox series S doesn’t even give the prompt for a joystick.

I have a Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas One and an Xbox One (original), and I just cannot get my flight stick to work with Star Wars Squadrons (it has worked with one other helicopter simulator on Xbox)... The controls in the settings ONLY show "controller" (normal Xbox controller, I guess)... 🤔

im sorry but there are no flight stick options. im using the same route, but when in controller options i scroll to the bottom and there is only the mouse options and nothing more. Also am struggling finding support because all the answer com right in to the same problem and its only for steam users.

There's a skill that allows you to detect herbs on the ground when you use your special vision. Invaluable as they are kind of hard to spot. I'd recommend picking that one. Good way to make money, too.

At first, you don’t need a food storage for the first 2 villagers (3 if married). Just put the food in their house chest. Build a food shed by winter though to prevent spoilage
