I HATE YOU, DYLDO. You sad buffoon. You don't know in what kind of country you're living. You have no clue.

I’m surprised they didn’t touch on Dylan’s “intoxication” to any degree in the Complete Unknown movie seeing as he was such a big drug user in his writing in the mid-60s.
@47_shift20 сағат бұрын
It was definitely possible Dylan was on hard drugs, as he said in an interview before he was addicted to heroin and all but he has a history of making up stories to the press

Love the back and forth between him and Ginsberg. The two of them are having a private joke that the rest of the crowd is oblivious to.

The press hasn’t changed, they’re jerks now as they were back in the sixties. He’s toying with them, but still serious about his craft.

No one comes close to his songwriting capability. He had the gift of crossing all genres of styles of music and always evolving. Still writing and performing at 84.

Very striking to me how similar Dylan's mannerisms and attitudes were to those of Jimi Hendrix who wouldn't be giving interviews until a few years later. But Jimi's attitudes about not playing all his previous songs because they were "like a diary". And about just performing in the moment. Even his facial mannerisms during interviews were eerily similar. Genius has its ways I guess.

So, it seems that everyone thought Dylan was a smart, creative, deep thinker. I think Dylan didn't agree with them. It seems he hadn't given much thought to anything.

It was funny how he reacted when some one asked him the meaning of the picture on the album. What does it mean? He smiles, thinking, " they just took a picture", later I find it on the album. What does it mean? He should had asked back, " What does it mean to you?"

The fact that LSD was still legal for sure at this point and he ended up playing with the Dead I would say he had taken it. I met the Dead in 1971 and I asked Jerry if I could set behind the amps and he let me do it and when I got to the first opening that lead to the back of the amps I found Bear dropping liquid acid onto the back of people’s hands and then they licked it off. I stuck my hand out and he put four big drops on the back of it and I licked it off. I sat behind Pigpen for the entire show and I wandered around checking out their equipment and the next thing I find Jerry headed my way. He was smiling and he passed me a big fat joint. When I let that hit out told goodshim that Bear had dosed me and and the music was entirely perfect for enhancing the acid . I also had a chance to speak to Bear and asked him if I could get access to his goods and he put me in touch with his local dealer and that turned to be a great thing. Because I got to know the people involved with the underground acid scene. I love Bob always have always will. ⚡️🎸⚡️

@ConnorThompson-w2k9 күн бұрын
It's quite clear that you "don't get it," so I really don't know what has compelled you to so boldly and ignorantly state your quite worthless opinions on his music. If you really acknowledged that you didn't "get it" then you could leave us all in peace to enjoy the man's music and be interested by what he has to say. A little humility is needed, methinks.
