thank you man , this is great i love solo from curse of the traveler. I also regret that he didnt push second solo further becouse at the point where guitar is crying at its peak its just fading out, i think it deserve better edning with more of this ;p .Sadly they recorded it that way ;p kzbin.info/www/bejne/jn6vnoyjhdiIidU

hi friend, of course I use my Boss me 80 multi effect using the wah pedal in manual mode, connected to my spark 40...same thing done for the video of the cover of the solo of Sweet child o mine by GNR

@@giampyguitar I'm using dunrop crybaby for wah pedal, I used to use multi effector but now I'm using analog boss effectors, Angry driver jb2 and Digital delay dd8

@jacky7938ify Dunlop's cry baby is nice, I used it in the past when I had the analogue chain, all you need is a nice Cs3 compressor at the beginning of the chain and you're more than fine, for the need to play in headphones I switched to multi effects currently after the Boss Me 80 I have a Spark Amp 40 from Positive Grid, I'm very happy with it even if sometimes I combine them to use the modulations of the multi-effect via a Wah, Whammy, Freez type pedal

hello I hope you enjoyed the performance and I invite you to subscribe to the channel to stay updated 😁 First of all I use SPARK AMP 40 and record via USB cable or with my BOSS Me 80 pedalboard, I remade myself to Gilmour's live sound because that of The original album is impossible to recreate because Gilmour recorded it with a Les Paul with P-90 pick up directed into the mixer desk with a lot of compressor and reverb and that's it..simple..(his only solo recorded like this) for this sound I used: a clean amplifier (possibly HIWATT or Fender blues), chorus, reverb, delay, compressor with a nice attack and sustain and a Tube drive to give a slight distortion using it as a boost with the drive at 5, but the difference is also made by the pick ups on this guitar that are active and have an EMG DG 20 attack and higher mids (like on the redstrat)

guitars are never enough🤣but with humbuchers you're already on a good road I have to play with the compressor to have a good attack and a lot of sustain...a little chorus but just a little...and an overdrive to act as your boost with low drive...and you've done more than half of the sound...fundamental and starting from a very clean sound

it's the EMG DG 20 pick ups (ACTIVE) that make the difference...I just used a clean sound, compressor with a lot of sustain, just a little reverb, delay, chorus, and a tube screamer set to boost with drive at 5

with the EMG DG 20 pick ups you get 50% of the Gilmorian sounds, more versatile are the EMG pick ups by Steve Lukater of Toto (they sell the pickguard already complete with pick up) humbucher in the bridge and single coil in the middle and neck
