The car in the vehicle bay by itself would be enough for most levels, adding the cube is just for style points, honestly

the little grabber appearing with the green block at 0:39 looks cartoony as shit. It's like the giant hand putting on spongebob's clothes in the intro.

Go figure. A German creates the most overly engineered yet perfectly versatile vehicle/weapon. This is awesome. Been a while since beseige was a thing but I still love it

If properly implemented in a fantasy world, this Cube would probably be one of the most metal concepts in that world. A mysterious, murderous and inscrutable metal cube, rampaging through the lands and wiping kingdoms off the map. I like to think that the cyan 'core' cube actually contains the soul of the engineer himself. In order to get the Cube operational (no one else knew how to run this deranged machine), the madman had transferred his very soul into the Core - the finishing sacrificial touch to his magnum opus. After existing for centuries as a living war engine, most of his humanity had been burnt away, all except for its intellect and its unyielding hatred for anything that is not part of the Cube. After every self-destruction, the Core Cube would exert its soul-force to reassemble the cube piece by piece at an unsettling speed. The aftermath of the Cube's work would always look the same: a massive crater, darkened by blood and gunpowder, littered with corpses and shattered stone bricks. Basically, somebody please put this insane machine in some souls-like game as a boss. Call it Lichthausengof's Cube, AKA The Lich Cube.
