YOU fail, if you don't find a good restaurant in Strasbourg, or wherever in France ! Blame yourself, not the whole country ! You suck at choosing good places for your meals... Follow the locals, not the tourists, not the guides : you'll avoid scams and bad food !

Thanks. It bugs me Kyle frequently refers to buildings behind him and Kelly as "behind me" rather than "behind us".

That building which we can see over your left shoulder as you're standing next to the big fountain at Paseo La Princesa is NOT, I repeat, NOT the governor's palace. It's a convent and retirement home for the Servants of Mary religious order. La Fortaleza, which is the governor's official executive mansion, lies immediately behind that, and can be partially seen over your right shoulder.

HI there, I just messaged on your seville video. For granada, I have tickets for Nazret palace for 3pm. We will reach granada around 12.30pm and have a return train at 7pm same day. So with this, would you recommend getting a guide or is self tour enough?
@inquisitive997 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing. We are travelling in June and we have had issues trying to book tickets from official website for Alcazar(some website issue). Do you recommend doing a 3rd party guided tour for both Alcazar and cathedral ~3-3.5 hours and morning 10am vs afternoon pm ? We are family of 3(one teen) or just getting our own tickets and self tour?

As a Belgian who is not from Antwerp, I can confirm that you should definitely visit the city when you're in the neighborhood. It is gorgeous!

I went there this month and for people not use to walking around it’s quite a bit of walking from the station to the villa and walking all the way down to those fountains is tiring lol

At least this video MENTIONS, that Christiansborg is the building of our Danish Government and Parliament!! Watching all the international streams and comment sections about our recent National Danish event of transitioning from having Margrethe to having Frederik as our ceremonial non political Head of State of Danmark, it has become clear, that "you guys" from abroad seems to only "see" the Royals part of all this!? 99% of the ceremonial parts took place at Christiansborg, the political center of Danmark, and involved BOTH politicians and the Reigning Monarch. The signing of the abdication was i n front of our entire Government present ( + Margrethe, Frederik and Christian = the old, the current and the future Monarchs ). The official part on the balkony was only the part where BOTH our PM and the new King were there. The part where the new Queen Mary and the children joined Frederik was only an "extra" for the crowds there!! I am not "targeting " you specifically(!), but watching a few videos just now about random KZbinrs visits to Christiansborg, makes it clearer to me, why so many from abroad "saw" that recent National Danish Event totally different than I did. There was so much symbolism during that two days event, that was totally lost on most viewers, based off of their comments. Btw, on a sidenote, as others have also pointed out, that ugly "thing" you showed in this video was NOT the original statue of "The Little Mermaid"! Just saying!

Looks amazing! We're headed to rome this may for the second time after 25 years. Be in Rome three full days and are trying to decide on doing this partial day trip or not. think it's worth it for Villa D Este and lunch. Not sure if the other Villa is worth the full day, or what you thought of Hadrians villa. Thanks, looks fun!

FYI, all of those churches and cathedral are Roman Catholic churches. Is actually very easy because the only form of christianity at the time those were build in that part of Europe was the Roman Catholic. History lesson, Martin Luther became a priest in 1507 so any church built before that was automatically Roman Catholic. Let me get this right. You go to a place, don't really have money to burn which means you can't afford to see one of the most influence pieces of art but stay in a rather expensive hotel (because hotels aren't cheap in Belgium and the closer you are to the center the more expensive they tend to be) and to the sound of it, the hotel even had it's own gym which really means that it wasn't some affordable B&B . You can't be bothered to take the tours in a boat, showing you other details and views that you otherwise will miss (and yes there are guided versions in English) You can't be bothered to try classic local dishes, drinks or snacks. The info you share is in lots of areas very incomplete and faulty. For instance Saint Bavo isn't a church but a cathedral, which signifies the wealth of the city and how important the city was to have the seat of a Bishop. The building behind you when standing next to the Castle of the Counts 10:00 isn't the old fishmarket but you are actually facing the old fishmarket (so you never filmed it) This means that the opulent facade decorated with a big Neptune statue on top right before you didn't catch your eye. *facepalm* Nor that you noticed the old meat market (which you had to walk past) or noticed the old main post office building Nor did you notice THE mustard shop which has been making mustard on site and selling it in the same shop since 1790 Nor did you notice any of the dates on building. I guess you go to all the different places to have bragging rights to have been there but not to learn or really experience the local culture. I bet you don't even know there is a connection between Ghent and the USA (treaty of Ghent) or Ghent and England by having King Edward III proclaimed as King of France on the Fridays Market in Ghent which you visited but didn't even wonder who or what the statue in the center of that market place is about. In short, it was one of the most lazy badly informed disappointing tours I've seen but then again they are in line with your other ones. Small tip, don't just point your camera and say stuff that is annoyingly wrong. Make an effort to engage, making sure that you don't rely on one source of info so that you don't spout stupid things, to bring something that is unique be it a deep dive into something or showing places that haven't been filmed and photographed a billion times, or pointing out some stuff that could be of interest to the more discerning tourist that doesn't just want to visit the most obvious tourist traps. And even when visiting the most obvious touristy things, give some insight about it. Any yokel with a smart phone can take pic's and vids but if you want people to sign up to your channel you have to do more.

*facepalm* The town hall not being symmetrical is not a mistake but by design and because it took a long while to designed with lots of different architect involved. From what you depict in your vlogs neither of you have interest in architecture, culture, local dishes, art, or history, you get some cheap ass tour guide written by someone that doesn't seem to know much about the place... got to wonder why you bother traveling.

Why would anyone want to see the Little Mermaid without having read Hans Christian Andersen's story? Disney's version is as distorted as the genetically modified mermaid you mistook for the real one.

That square was last Plaza de Armas. That's where city hall is and there's a statue of Don Tite Coretta Alonso sitting on a bench he was a famous composer . El Paseo de La Princessa was the path that was taken with the prisoners to church every Sunday.

You should have had breakfast at La Mallorca. They have great coffee and you can't beat their breakfast. You could have also gotten coffee at La Plaza de Armas just a short walk from El Hotel Convento. The kiosk there have amazing coffee. El Convento is one of my favorite places to stay in Puerto Rico and my favorite place to stay and hang out in Old San Juan.
