Thank you for these tips. Could i ask what focal length(s) you used inside? I'm trying to figure out if i would need wider than my 24-50 g lens.

@@manifesttrust for most of the setups, I mostly used a 10mm wide lens, but some scenes were done on a 18-35mm lens. I recommend to have both focal lengths as it will depend if you want a tight shot on the driver or a wide shot revealing the inside of the car. 🙂 I hope it helped. Practical effects make movies to be relevant for longer. CGI dies out fast cos technology evolves fast and new and improved CGI replaces old one

@@StRose9 That is a personal opinion that doesn't represent the reality. The industry still praise and talk about The Matrix, Lord of the Ring, Transformers, Spiderman, Inception, District 9, Hardcore Henry, Blade Runner and many more. The VFX itself doesn't dictate the revelance of the movie. Cinema is the art of visual storytelling. There isn't one VFX better than the other. What really matters is the execution of the art form and the style.

@@wingedferret5713 if you watched the full video I praised the amazing work of practical effects. I simply mention the cons of it. Just like CGI can be well done or completely failed. Practical effect has it's flaws and once again I noticed it on Alien Romulus. CGI is just another form of art that deserves respect.
