I loved Good Times! It was one of my favorite shows, and I still watch it to this day. It touched on some very real subjects and issues in every community, not just the black community. They raised the issues of drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, child abuse, and more. IMHO, every person played a part in the shows success. I don't believe Jimmy Walker is lonely. I will be 60 in December and most of my life alone. Have I been lonely? I don't think so, sure there's been times I would have enjoyed a companion. But more stress than the value of coexistence. It may seem complicated, but it's not. Alone and loneliness is a frame of mind. Most co companions, tend to be opportunists that seek a free living by sucking off others. Parasites. I get it! While walking my Dog one day, I saw Ralph walking my way. We know each other pretty well now, we're friends. He just got off the phone. He mention that he was talking with BernNadette and they still keeps in touch. So I as him about Janet Jackson. He said they still call each other now and then. Then out of the clear blue he mention Donna Summer. He told me he miss Donna so much. She happen to be his best friend. He mention they would hang out together quite often and call each other all the time. When she passed away he was heart broken. He loved Donna Summer. I haven't seen any videos on youtube were he talks about Donna but I would like to know more. But I don't bring her up when we speak cause I know he still hurts for her.

I’m sorry… JJ is more than likely BITTER because even though they put him in front as the lead, (forgive me for saying this) although they gave him the lead role, (In my opinion based on what the “woke” community have been saying to this very day) he ONLY got the lead role because of his buffoonery and because of this role, I feel that although he was funny and I really enjoyed his character, they made his character out to be a complete idiot that had absolutely no direction in life, in dating and the ONLY talent they actually allowed for him to possess was his art and that’s it. His character in my eyes completely watered down the show’s integrity and his bitterness comes from other cast members being more favorable than him because of the realism in their roles. I actually loved Michael’s intellwctual and revolutionary character that was young, smart AND fearless, a complete opposite of his brother JJ. JJ can stay bitter. Michael will ALWAYS be my favorite character next to EVERYONE’s Mama they WISHED they had, Esther Rolle (rest in paradise Queen)

I used to live at 201 Clinton Avenue, Brooklyn NY. I also used to always run into Mr. Carter in Clinton Hill, and at times at the theatre on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off-Broadway. He probably dos not remember me by name, but he always treated me and my family well. It has been a while, but thumbs up to you Ralph, wherever you are. I hope to run into you soon.
