That was great to watch Lucy, you and Ember are really together now you rode him so very well. Justine is a great trainer too I wish you great results with him this year he’s starting to enjoy himself more. If you have hills where you live now they are the best for toning up the back end. So, so happy with this check up on the end ❤ that's why I love the way Meg Elphick works with her ponies. She is going from A to Z slowly but surely. Many people wants to just jump from A to Z forgetting that this is a journey with building muscles and strength to gain the condition.

I actually really enjoyed when you purposefully kept the same pace going all around the jumps without actually jumping and weaving in and out in the beginning. I think he sees the jump and accelerates unnecessarily where being able to maintain the same rhythm at all times is essential to your goal. You are amazing girl. 💪

My cob had scope but he just didn’t have the brain for showjumping like my ISH. My cob was a fantastic cross country horse though, bless him. He’s 25 now with arthritis and is fully retired. He still loves a good buck and gallop around the field. We owe them so much! ❤️

Cobs are such cool little horses! I don’t know much about them. Don’t think they are common in Canada but looking forward to learning more :)

Shimmy your hands slightly back and forth I think he means rather than just pulling straight back

Just to help, yes he is talking about the hands, the reason why you dont want to pull with both reins is because it can lock their jaw and cause them to brace against you, so by gently "shimmying" the hands it gets the horse to salivate, relax and still listen to the aids asked. Hope that helps xx
