I used to know what time MEWNL and MAGNL would go through Conroe and Spring Junction which was usually in the late afternoon. Now they run it at various different times depending on when they leave their respective yards.
@southplainsrailfan86979 күн бұрын
I know the MEWNL typically runs in the earlier part of the morning. I catch it anywhere from 7am to noon. MSPNL and MSPAS replaced MAGNL a year or two ago and MSPNL runs late afternoon with MSPAS running at midnight. Only other train on the Palestine subdivision lately is the MHOAS that runs around 6pm

@@southplainsrailfan8697 Looks like a majority are going to Saint Louis or Dupo from that list which means any local going into Llyod has traffic mainly for Alton & Southern which is a change from there being only two out of Spring regularly not counting the rock and oil train with CN power.

Wow that's an awesome video, easily one of the worst storms I've seen on here, can't get over how dark the sky is and how bright the lightning is. I love the way you slowed up some of the lightning strikes so we can see the lightning flash in detail from beginning to end as it was so fast and furious in real time. Some awesome lightning strikes there 👏

23:30 interesting note you can see that on the lead unit #5825 one of the number panels at the top must have fell off or broke so they put tape over it. Also the potash train is UP OCKT1 grain loads from the cpkc from kansas city to galveston

Is that a hilly subdivision? Trains going that way have to have a lot of power. Especially the MNLEW and MNLHO

The rain 🌧 came down harder and harder and then there was probably hail. I thought 💭 that the first time I watched this video. Hail looks like snow ❄. Hail is sooooo cooool. I wish New Orleans got more hail.

The first time I watched this video I thought that derechos and supercells were calling “hurricanes with lightning ⛈.” Back then I didn’t know that hurricanes 🌀 produce lightning ⛈ but I did know that tropical storms produce lightning ⛈. Back then I never saw lightning ⛈ during hurricanes 🌀. Hurricane 🌀 ida produced lightning ⛈ in New Orleans but I wasn’t in New Orleans during hurricane 🌀 Ida. When I found out that hurricanes 🌀 do produce lightning ⛈ I looked up “what is a thunderstorm ⛈ with very strong wind 💨 like a hurricane 🌀 called?” And google said “derecho.” When I found out that hurricane 🌀 Ida produced lightning ⛈ I thought 💭 that hurricane 🌀 Ida was a derecho. I thought 💭 category 1 hurricanes 🌀 were tropical storms and category 4 and 5 hurricanes 🌀 were derechos. I also thought 💭 a mothership cloud 🌧 was called a “supercell.” But it’s not. A supercell is a rotating thunderstorm ⛈. I also thought 💭 that only category 4 and 5 hurricanes 🌀 produce lightning ⛈, because that’s what google says. My sister is right google does lie sometimes. And I thought 💭 there was a difference between a hurricane 🌀 that produces lightning ⛈ and a hurricane 🌀 that doesn’t produce lightning ⛈. Boy was I naive about the hurricane 🌀 with lightning ⛈ information.

I feel like small creators like Lone Star Railfan dont get enough support for the cool things they do because the bar is set so high to be a popular youtuber. I think people just need to give more support. Thx Lone Star Railfan 4 giving the community a cool vid 😊

Navasota huh? Now that’s a strange name! I presume it’s lazy English for Nevada + Minnesota? Reminds me of stupid names like Texarkana.
@southplainsrailfan8697Ай бұрын
@@edy21865 it is a strange name. But locals believe it to be a Native American term for “muddy rivers” or “Prickly Pear”. Either way it’s quite fitting, especially muddy rivers

This spring and summer of 2023 in this video was so intense. We had like 6 storms with micro burst especially at IAH where I worked. We had EF2 Tornado which i got videos of it on my channel. I even go stuck in Tomball off 249 pulling over cause of an intense storm that had Tornado warnings and it was night so i couldnt see well.
