How do I turn on my inside lights so that they come on when the doors are opened?? No information in the booklet or online that I can find. I know you do something below the sunroof but can’t figure it out. It was working but now it’s not.

Coming from a Lexus LC 500 I should have been disappointed with the RX500h f sport but I’m not. It doesn’t corner like an LC but everything else is spot on. It’s quick it’s comfortable, corners well in sport mode, has fantastic tech and is beautifully made.

B&W makes a hitch for the multi-step tailgate that has a 45 degree on the top side so you can use your tailgate multi-step function step options while you're hooked up to a trailer without it hitting the tailgate as mentioned.

If most people read their manual, you will know about all of these features. Also, you can stow or open your floorboards in the settings so you're not having to hold your foot on them if you drive through a car wash which you wont be able to do as they will stow once you jump in.

Unfortunately with the modern diesels there isn’t much you can do to the engine without breaking any emissions laws, the emissions system on those is what “corks” them down. You can delete and have it tuned for no smoke and keep exhaust quiet. It’ll allow more longevity and really allow the engine to breathe 20x better

The wireless charger on these and the Chevys are borderline useless. Great idea, great location, terrible implementation. Curious if the kid sitting in the middle back complained about that terrible cupholder backrest that protrudes out way more than it should. My wife, who sits in back between two small kids, who is very tiny, complains about it because it pushes you forward. Terrible ergonomic oversight for trucks this expensive. Same with the column shifter. You might hate the more modern shifters, but they are much better ergonomically. Otherwise, they've completely killed it on design for the Sierras and Silverados. I have a 23 high country, best truck I've owned.

I just got this same truck and put a 6 inch lift with 37 inch tires, i absolutely loved it!!! But the salesman failed to really show me all the cool stuff with the truck. I am still trying to youtube stuff to figure everything out, which is how i ended up here.

Also to mention for those who don't know they have the HUD is there are multiple screen options you can choose from by hitting the "HUD" button to rotate through them. I love having the navigation info. on it along with other info. Just wish it would get brighter for using with dark polarized sunglasses in bright daylight, but the dimming feature for night is great. I didn't think the HUD would be something I'd like, but I do love it.

I think for the price it should have a sensor that knows their is a trailer or hitch and do that tailgate lock for you automatically.

I need a new car but can’t part ways with my 20122 Benz ML 350. It’s such a fun car to drive, pretty powerful, but they don’t make cars the same anymore. Im thinking of a Lexus but still doesn’t convince me 🤦‍♀️

At the price they sell these at, I wouldn't expect anything less.

The one thing that has me scratching my head is how lexus released this new gen rx but failed to address the rear doors that when opened, result in the rear tire being exposed. If you lean into the car or are not careful getting out, you will get tire dressing and/or tire grime all over your pants. One of the biggest engineering flaws i have ever seen.

Have a 2500 AT4. Also has the sticky glovebox. Figured out if I kind of push the right side of the button, it opens fine. Love all of the same things you said. One other I love is the lane departure warning built into the seats. It's suttle enough without being annoying. I've had some that start beeping noises in the vehicle, or want to jerk the vehicle back into the lane. I also love the cameras and one of the best parts is that the left and right cameras on the mirrors automatically come on in full screen when you put the turn signal on while towing. It's an amazing safety feature.

The real question for our 6.6 after checking with Dave’s auto or banks……crankshaft pins are sheering off….big warning!!!…GM wtf
