What cymbal are you using on your far right? I heard it on another performance and I kinda want one.

@@heroman-cd3be a swish knocker! Just a large china cymbal with rivets in it. It was either a 20” or 22”, can’t exactly remember

Reminds me of when I was a kid and I would listen to my mom play this song in the summertime with the front door open. Neighbors would comment about how good she was. Miss those days. Thanks for the memories

Cool! Is it possible to perform with absence of bass-drum based toms?

Hey thanks so much! Yes, that is Stevens grip and those were the back ends of Vic Firth SD4 Combos. No specific tuning, just pitches distinct enough from each other. I just used the legs of the bass drum to stop it! It has great rubber feet. Thanks again!

Great performance! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Fantastic control on the right hand. Is that a Stevens/Musser grip you used? What size and brand of sticks did you play with? Is there a specific tuning for the Roto Toms? And how did you keep the bass drum from walking? Again, outstanding performance, definitely worth watching and listening to!

We miss those sounds coming from your bedroom! 😄 Couldn't be prouder of you for all your hard work and practice, and for inspiring so many coming up after you. You are a true example Reese. ❤️
