Thanks so much for watching! I would say it depends, most internationals take it more seriously (usually because it's more expensive) and most Dutch people seem to just want the bare minimum. Just do your best!

I loved the picasso museum, the vibrant street culture and also the carnaval (didn't document as we randomly stumbled upon it and I didn't have my camera). The people were all so welcoming and friendly, I'd definitely go back.

My bad with my late reply! I hope you found a solution that you liked! Global Law is really great at Tilburg University, the law students definitely are the university favourites hehe, just have a look at the building! Many of my friends ended up working for one of the big 4, most specifically Deloitte. You'll be absolutely fine, take the risk <3

I’m an exchange student starting in Tilburg in August for a full year. I’ve done a lot of research and I’m not sure how to feel about going, some people seem to love the city but others have said it’s very boring and also that international students are often treated badly. What’s your thoughts on this? Also in terms of accommodation I’ve been looking at verbs since it’s reserved for exchange students. I know you said you never actually lived in verbs but do you have any other advice on it or know what people who lived there thought of it? Thanks for the video, it was really helpful and informative 🙌

You've probably already started your classes, and I hope it's been good so far. The city is very polarizing, but it does grow on you. The nice thing is that you can always do day trips to places like Utrecht Amsterdam, Breda etc. As for your questions, international students do get a lot of shit for being international, and that's also what I meant when I said that Dutch people stick to themselves and internationals tend to group together. According to my friends, Verbs was fun because of the parties and socialization aspect, but gross in terms of communal areas and drinking culture. It's a gamble as it depends on who you end up staying with and what you're willing to tolerate. Thank you for taking the time to watch it! I hope you have an amazing semester x
