This is a great tutorial. Just wondering if we used RAG and if the data model didn't have the answer and queried an external system, can the results be then stored in the model thus eliminating the need to go to the external system if someone else asked the same question next time.

Short answer is no. The model is static after it is trained. Long answer - you can fine tune the model with results from the external system and use the updated model. Most people do not do this since the model needs to be continuously fine tuned and it is an expensive process compared to RAG.

With all the praise for COT, sometimes Prompt Chaining is a simpler and more reliable approach. Thanks for talking about this!

Like the focus of these videos on non Technical Information Workers. Lots of misinformation that you need to buy a Vector DB to implement RAG!

Thanks! Our customers have given feedback that most AI information is either too technical or too simplistic to add any value.
