Curious how these solutions fit into upper/middle/lower class groups, and how they can realistically contribute to these problems.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the native species requirement is actually species and not genus? I ask because Chinese chestnut is the only real option for Missouri in terms of chestnut, but castanea is native to the US. Also, is it US or North America? Ideally I would grow either Chinese chestnut or Japanese walnut as the overstory, both genus are native to US. Neither is invasive. Also interested in Honeyberry (lonicera) and Goumi (eleagnus) are both native genus that are great understory perennials.
