Ewl. I hate when these choral jazz groups attempt actual songs . This song has about 5% soul originally. They brought it down to 2%. Ohh. This song in different formats is amazing. The words and the feelings it gives are almost indescribable. So beautiful and honest. I first heard when it came out, when I was a teenager. Even then, hearing it was hearbreakingly beautiful. You did a wonderful job with this song. How in the world could I seek anything better. Give a listen to a song of the same time era by Marmalade named Reflections Of My Life. Do it the old way of you can, like me and use the old wrap around headphones 🎧. Ot makes a huge difference. He song is a MASTERPIECE of work. Also listen to, Don't sing or record this next song. Once you hear it, you will never forget it. Harry Chapin The Shortest Story. And it is very short. 2 minutes and some seconds. The subject matter is extremely difficult, but Harry says all that is needed in that song. Try again headphones 🎧 with that also.
