Ainge dont let this garbage team to go playoffs even if somehow they could to do so. So far last year rookies has been negative, this year rookies we dont know yet (summer league dont show anything) and next year who know what picks jazz even get.

The youngsters grow, we get maybe a top five pick, Lauri, Kessler, Sexton and Jazz traided a few other stars.

@@petterituohino6392 They may get top 5 pick, but its not sure. Who are the youngsters who grow? Keyonte is so negative that he may never be able to be on court in winning team. Kessler was very bad last season. He may be better, but he may be stay like that and thats who he is as a basketball player. Jazz never get star players get traded in utah. So far Ainge has failed every time when he did try get someone and he will failed every time in future too. All he may get is medicore players at best. I dont see very bright future for jazz unless they get Flagg or someone like him from draft. More likely they are just above worst teams for years to come.

Lauri is TOP10 for sure. He is still most underrated player in whole nba. But i do agree you with everything else. They aint got Flagg and nobody want to come in utah. Jazz semitank next 5 season or so. Unless some of they picks develop to superstar. I know Keyonte always will be unplayable in winning team. He is good for tank tou, help them lose more.

@cubixJ Well to need out on you: the liqourice that's covered on salt is a lot more Swedish thing. Salmiakki, which is called salty liqourice usually by English speakers but is actually ammonium chloride, is the good stuff if you ask Finns 😄 Or then just plain (fresh&soft) black liquorice without salt covering is something people here like too.

I agree that Lauri have more value than gsw can offer. Spurs in other hand is better situation to offer something bigger if they want to. Pop start to be old, Wemby have rookie contract. They have great opportunity try to win now before Wemby have new contract and Pop retired. Its only matter how much assets they want to use now to this window.

@@finnishview2933 Lauri has actually said he wants to stay with Utah. He enjoys the area and feels at home with Utah. He has a strong relationship with the owner and feels valued, which hasn’t been the case in his previous stops in the NBA.

I have some links that explain how Jazz could still build around Lauri I can send and it will explain it better than I can. I understand wanting to see him in the playoffs as well. I will say, the way Lauri plays the game can be very sustainable for the next eight years or so, just look at Dirk Nowitzki (who Lauri is often compared to). He was averaging 20+ ppg going into his 15th season. Say Jazz make some trade moves, the youth progress well, in 3-4 years Lauri will still be in his prime and he will have a core of great young players and other good assets obtained through trades to compete with the rest of league. I can see something like that happening. Yes, he could easily get traded but Jazz front office value him more than any other team has and I think that means a lot to Lauri. I also agree that I hate tanking. I am just observing what I think the Jazz might do. I hate not competing to win but that is how NBA is these days. From what I’ve heard Lauri and his family like Salt Lake a lot and it reminds him of home. From reports He feels he can win in Utah even if it’s a few years down the road. I think he values his family more than winning. For example, I don’t think he would like San Francisco very much, but he would have a better chance of winning there. Lots of choices Jazz must make. Rebuilding isn’t easy and it can be very tough to watch. Especially when you want to watch a player compete with all the other big names.

+1 take from a fellow Finn! I really hope to see Lauri in OKC or Spurs. That would be insane. Dont know If Warriors would be nice since since the City is too big for a Finn and team itself seems like in a rough place rn.

@finnishview2933 You can trade guys to the Utah, they don't exactly have a say in it. It's question if you can extend them or sign-in-trade them or get free agents (but free agency is pretty dead anyway). Also if Lauri is there, there is bigger chance to get someone else too and after them having two more legit guys it's always again easier to get third etc.
